Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Conneaut

I just left this establishment very unhappy. I placed a mobile order of 3 items, ice cream, onion rings and chicken bites with questions. The app said it would be done by 8:05 pm. I sat in the parking lot until 8:05, to give the time to get my order done. When I came in, the cashier stated "the mobile is here". I watched several drive through orders go out but my order was not among them. It was 8:12. I had been handed my ice cream when I walked in. The onion rings and queso came up,and were handed to the wrong person. She then handed me the bag of just onion rings and questions (that was ordered with the chicken). I asked about my 5.99 chicken order and was brushed off with a "it wasn't on the order screen". I went out to my car (now 8:23) and retrieved my phone to show the order included the chicken. I was told I could wait while they made my chicken. I said, no, just refund the 5.99. I explained that the order was supposed to be done by 8:05 and now my onion rings were getting cold and my ice cream melted. It was way over the time I was expecting my food and just wanted to get home. While I was offered a new meal to be made, I did not want to wait another 15 minutes while they corrected something that should have been completed by 8:05. I did not get the asked for refund nor the chicken. The ice cream was melted and the onion rings were barely edible. The question went untouched because there was no chicken for dunking. This was poor service all the way around. I should not have received my ice cream until my order was done. The order should have been done by the promised time of 8:05, not started at that time. Being brushed off when I complained about an incomplete order was inappropriate. I am not a kid trying to get free food, just a senior citizen needing to be fed after a 12 hr shift. Lived in the area most of my life and this location has always been "unique" and not in a good way. Blizzards and sundaes are ALWAYS thoroughly melted before you can even get two bites in, they are very skimpy with toppings even if you pay for extra and they use flat soda style lids for the blizzards where every other place uses the clear sundae lids and actually fill them up. Yet you pay the same price. It's such a rip off. The hot food is usually decent but I would never recommend the ice cream here. Just left the place and was disappointed in everything, though...

Just had a bad experience with ordering at the drive through this Sunday on 4/2/23 at 4pm the girl was very rude and unprofessional so bad that I asked to speak with the manager and that's not like me to take it that far so when the manager came to the window and identified herself as carley it turned out she was just as rude and unprofessional I am 65 years old and always visited dairy queen on Sunday afternoon unfortunately I won't be back for a while until they change their staff with friendly professional...
