Tonight we went to Eerie Acres Farm and let me tell you all around amazing!!!! Started off at the vendors and watching the bonfire. Music picks were great and played a little of everything. Then came the the haunt. Kai didn't make it the entire way through but we made it a decent way through. Now mind you we've been to cheesemans and the scarehouse that came out of Pittsburgh.......this topped them both 100x plus! Neither of those other places even made Kai flinch, but Eerie Acres Farm had him ready to run. I had a blast and the actors were amazing and as much as I love horror and they even got me multiple times. The one girl had one heck of a set of lungs, one guy got me so bad I had to stop and laugh at myself while catching my breath. Now on top of their amazing scare actors and amazing set up, their customer service and how to keep a close eye was top notch. Kai got to the point he needed to stop (they keep plenty of exits if you need out at anytime) and a exit door swung open, I'm pretty sure it was the guy who runs the entire thing (which again amazed me how he and the entire staff kept an eye on everything and was so nice and understanding), but he offered a safe exit and comfort to Kai, made sure once he was calm that he was sure he wanted to leave because if he didn't he would let him back in. I'm telling you A++++ on customer service and just the human factor that he really cares about the patrons, their fun, and their safety. We didn't make it the entire way but it's something I would recommend and something I had a ton of fun at. Even Kai said the actors were amazing and the set up was fantastic, he said so fantastic that he felt like he was in a real life horror movie š Top notch Halloween fun, customer service, and even vendors. Kai came home with two large airspray tattoos, a tumbler, two sets of earrings, light up horns, rootbeer float, and cotton candy. I got the rootbeer float, deep fried oreos, and a Gyro. All of the food was amazing and all the vendors were so sweet and personable. šÆ would recommend. I could go on and on about how nice this experience was and one day when Kai is ready we will be back, I want to make it the entire way through! We did the fast pass (lines get long, they've built a well deserved reputation in my opinion) and it's worth it. Another things I wanted to point out that I seen another reviewer mention, you get to go in your own group of people, not a large group of strangers like other places I've been so your experience is your own and it's just so much more fun but it being just the two of us definitely brought the haunts closer as there was no one else to scare š but that made it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt is not the best haunt around by any means. All the 4+ star reviews must be friends/family/workers. It is not that good. We skipped about 4 years between our last visit and tonight. We thought it would be a different experience finally. It was even worse than before. Best part was waiting for our number to be called, great dance music and watching the witches dance. VERY DETAILED REVIEW ABOUT THE HAUNT: We waited for our number on our wristband to be called. Then we went into their line and waited for it to be our turn. They have just YOUR group walk through the doors together. Take 20 steps in, and you will literally see the group in front of you. Stop and stand in your spot for less than 10 seconds and you will hear the next group coming in right behind you. 2 turns around the walls right behind you. They put you in WAY to fast to meet up with the other group. It sucks seeing and hearing all the scares and you get none. You will walk through very uneven terrain. Many dips, rocks, holes, slopes, things to trip over. As you walk through there is about 1-2 actors each scene. But the scenes with the actors are very spread out. It's not like wow those actors are everywhere and so good. Not even close. Once everyone has reached each other it becomes follow the leader through this place. You weave through the house nose to back of heads. You come outside to the trail and there is a guy with a HUGE ice cream cone on his head (funniest part). The kid that states "I have brain ice cream with a finger on top" is also funny! Then you walk towards a pirate, an animatronic, a few actors standing through the corn and then a man who says the aliens beamed up his Betsy cow and messed with his brothers in tubs. The alien stops the entire line. IT IS AN ENTIRE LINE OUTSIDE WAITING TO INTERACT/DANCE WITH ONE SINGLE ALIEN. Then you move past him into the pallet maze following a line of people. The pallet maze is so dumb. 2 chainsaw crazed guys who are fine but the pallet maze just is boring and needs way less people pushed into it at once. If you're going to keep that maze, it needs more actors, not just chainsaws. Also SPACE THE GROUPS OUT!!!. I wish we would have skipped this one yet again and just went to Beacon. Beacon haunt never disappoints. Eerie Acres more so is for children and if you're feeling like...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWOW! This IS the best haunted attraction for Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas. Iāve been to them all, and this one by FAR has succeeded in every aspect I look for. Letās start with the wait⦠they have created a number system so you donāt have to wait in line! WHAT! The line is the worst part when going to haunted attractions. While you wait for your number to be called - They have food / drink vendors (fair prices!!! Nothing was over priced!) they have bonfires you can sit around. Amazing! We got corn dogs and a beer, sat at the bonfire, and BOOM they called our number and we went to the door for our turn.
The attraction itself was amazing! They actually had āscaryā people (not to bash other places, but nothing scares me easily) they had some freaky things in there!! But thats what I want when I go to get scared! Also, the chainsaws!! I am terrified of the chainsaws, but get disappointed when an attraction doesnāt have them. This place does, and if you act afraid of them (which I made the mistake of doing) ⦠they donāt take it easy on you! (But again, I went to be scaredā¦. And that I was!) The corn maze is what makes this place! The corn maze by itself at night is spooky, but they have jump scares and things that follow you! Amazing! This place is a good 30-45 mins from Pittsburgh, and it is WELL WORTH the drive! Great prices, friendly owner, friendly staff, amazing time! We will be going back every fall, and telling everyone we...
