This incident is one of many in two years but is what made our decision to withdraw our son.
We got a MESSAGE not a phone call, a message on Procare saying they emailed us our sonās boo-boo report and attached the video. Our son was mauled in the face by another child and the front said it was because they were short teachers (fyi it left scars on his face). Yet, they recently increased pricing to make sure three teachers are in each room and during the incident that took place there was ONE teacher. Obviously when we saw the message we were concerned parents. We both leave our work to the daycare. Now, I am not saying my child is perfect but I do know my child⦠reaching out saying mine towards a toy and looking at the teacher⦠he was playing with the toy first and the other child took it. Although, they didnāt include that in the video they sent they insisted that our child caused the incident by trying to take the toy from the child. Once we got to the daycare we questioned and asked to see the footage beforehand to see who had the toy for our own knowledge which their story then changed. We get incidents are going to happen. Our concern is the low retention rate and LACK of teachers - The not taking responsibility and having INVALID reasons and excuses for everything. Prices increase for three teachers for each room yet ONE teacher was in this room. Four front office teachers are up front but they claim they all just got there. THEN she had the audacity to say she did us a favor by sending us the boo-boo and video report because she thought we would want to see it and she didnāt have to do that - NO MAāAM, that is your job! To add, the incident happened at 8:53 and we got the message/email at 10:16. Where was our phone call?!
As soon as we let them know that we will be withdrawing our son we started being treated differently. I have always brought my son breakfast in the morning and all of a sudden he wasnāt allowed to have Chick-fil-A. When I questioned why, they said because they cook with peanut oil⦠when I told her he brings it at least 2-3 times a week she had nothing to say just he couldnāt have it. So I had to throw the chicken out making my son upset and cry, yet heās been able to have it previously AND I brought it to a teacher⦠A previous review stated that they have favorites⦠they definitely showed it. They have no professionalism and theyāre not consistent with their policies.
All-in-all we have given this facility chance after chance and it has continued to go down hill. They take no responsibility for incidents that take place. We no longer recommend this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy children attended this daycare for a month. My son was having issues in class which I was never notified about. Until I received an email from the main director that he was put on a probationary period. Not sure how someone gets put on a probationary period without any notice beforehand. My son also pulled food down from the counter, and it was made a big deal, when I asked him why he did it. He said it was because he was hungry and he was not fed enough. The assistant Director Gabby is very unprofessional rude. I had been watching the cameras, and it was not only my sign that was not sitting on the carpet and running around, but it was also two other children, when I brought it up, I was told that one of the other children had been going there since he was a baby and he was different. So from what Iām gathering is they play favorites? There is a lack of communication and the assistant Director is not very nice. I canāt really comment on the main director when Iāve only had one conversation with her and sheās clearly not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur experience at KRK Lake conroe has been a positive one! My 5 year old has been there since she was 2 and was completely prepared for Kindergarten with the curriculum and structure they provide. My 16 month old has been there since she was 4 months and has had great/loving teachers that give her the nurturing, structure and creativity learning that she needs. The transparency is great when it comes to communication with the staff through emails and app. If thereās an issue, the staff/owner address it. The fact that I can visually check on my kids real time through a camera app is a huge, huge plus. Itās incredibly clean which is a huge plus. Lastly, their owners are great people that have young kiddos of their own and understand the importance in caring for these littles and making sure they grow. I highly recommend this learning care center to...
