Updated Review: Unfortunately, after almost a year customer service has slipped here. I don't feel welcomed when I enter the store anymore. The employees seem more interested in just saying they work in a card store and come off passive aggressive I think. I feel what may have happened over the year is they poured more resources into hiring folks for their rip and ship business and not as much into their front of the house customer facing crew. Fast growth has also been hard for them as well to maintain the level of customer service the owner, Pat, was after. I do hope in another 10 months they have better and a bit more kinder employees. I find the folks that handle rip and ship to be way more friendly and more customer orientated than the employees that have to work in the store. I do hope they work to improve or I'll be taking my business elsewhere unfortunately.
This is a great little card shop inside of an office complex! They have a lot of inventory for the better known card games like Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcana, and One Piece (mostly singles). It's a smaller shop, but that's okay. It's well organized and staff themselves are attentive to the customers that come in the shop. The way into the store is you'll need to make a right or left off of Loudoun County Parkway and drive past the front facing buildings and then next to FastSigns, they are right there. They now have their sign above their door so it's easier to see. Check it out! Also, they price according to TCGPlayer Market Price mostly so prices are good and right around MSRP for...
Read moreI’m a Pokémon guy so I can’t speak to the sports side.
Full disclaimer, selfishly I want to help this budding business out as they grow so they can keep my prices down before they realize they can charge more.
Personable shop, friendly customers and staff. Willing to make deals if they’re fair. Best prices on sealed product around, fair deals on singles (~tcg market price). A fast (seems to be weekly?) rotation of cards in the case, a few REALLY rare cards, a great shop. New product and evolving space as they get set up, really exciting to see it grow.
I bought some stuff online: quick and easy, also the shop streams (currently m/w/f) which can be fun to watch.
New, so make sure to come in and show your support if you want a real Pokémon collector hub in the area! NOVA rent isn’t cheap but their prices couldn’t be more fair.
The only change I’d make is maybe hang something up high to...
Read moreI’ve been shopping here for months with my son and was hoping to keep supporting a local card shop. Unfortunately, most of the staff treat us very oddly or seems too bothered to help.
Prices have steadily gone up, which we accepted for a while, but the lack of customer care finally did it for us. After all the business we’ve given them, they couldn’t even entertain the idea of buying a single card from my son. A child. I've heard them turn away children all the way like they can't afford to buy a $5 Pokemon card from a 6 year old. That was pretty disheartening.
Our last visit was the worst: the young woman at the counter acted as though waiting on us was an inconvenience—rude and dismissive toward us. That was the final straw.
We’ve decided it’s time to stop going. We had hoped for a welcoming shop that valued its customers, but sadly it no longer...
