Update: After I disputed HTC on Paypal, the company immediately put my order in the mail and I received it within a couple of days. The Salt Dome is gorgeous and larger than I expected from their photos. The Freedom Tower is very nice. I will enjoy both items. My suggestion to HTC, if they truly want to sell their product, is to redefine their mission and vision statements along with upgrading/retraining their fulfillment and customer service departments. They have a beautiful product and customers shouldn't be subjected to the poor quality of Management and lay persons. Not sure if I'm going to order anything else just because of the Customer Service.
Original Post: I ordered 2 lamps, the Freedom Tower and Salt Dome on 08/29/2024. They said it would ship in 3-5 days, but a mailing label with USPS had been created. After seeing the package had not been shipped, I attempted to call them on 09/05/24, no answer, and sent them an email on 09/06/24 through their contact link, with no response. Then they sent out a promotional email on 09/09/24 and I responded to that email with questions regarding my order and got a response of they wanted me to verify my address, that's why the items had not been shipped. I told them it was correct and there has never been an issue with any other company before. They were stalling. I exchanged a few more emails with them and then on 09/10/24 they said the package was ready to mail out and for me to check the tracking number the next day. Well, this morning I checked and the tracking number no longer exists. So I sent an email demanding a refund by the end of the day. I will be reporting them to the BBB. Unfortunately, I found they have a BBB rating of "F" and so many others have had problems getting their products. In the future, I will check the BBB for every new company I purchase from. Knowing about half way through that they were experiencing delays I requested a refund about a week ago, and they basically said āno, you can keep waiting and weāll send it out as soon as possible.ā And then I said - no, please give me a refund, I wonāt get the item in time to give it to my friend as a gift.
Since that email exchange , and after leaving a voicemail and 3 more emails - theyāve completely ignored me.
I ended up purchasing the lamp on amazon, giving the gift as intended and now 15 days later, after multiple attempts to CANCEL the original order, I get a USPS shipping confirmation from Himalayan Salt Trading co. They completely ignored my polite requests to cancel the order and to NOT send out the package and they did anyways. Now I have to go through the ridiculous return process. I travel for work so this is just a massive waste of my time. I doubt theyāll refund my money anyways - luckily AMEX has got my back. Itās just $50 anyways - but itās really poor customer service.
Theyāre either money hungry or incompetent, or both. Either way, Iād stay away from this company. If all goes well, Iām sure you wonāt have any issues - but if there is a problem with your order, just know they wonāt have any business helping you.

Also put in a complaint with PayPal. SCAM!! When they replied this is what I receive. This one was September 29th. If you look up tracking # below it say shipment created. Awaiting item. Has been this way for 2 weeks. And it means nothing. The order number wonāt pull up my order. I asked them to email me a copy of my order. They havenāt. When you call you have to leave message. They keep saying in the process of shipping and if thereās anything we can do for you!!! I asked several times to cancel. Truthfully now I donāt remember which item I ordered been so long and I CANāT see my order. I donāt usually complain for a reasonable delay but when Iām told āin the process of shipping ordersā 2 weeks ago and tracking number shows item hasnāt even been received yet! Order at your own risk.
