Chef Perez’s food was absolutely delicious, and he did an excellent job sticking to the menu we wanted for our wedding and executing it beautifully. The flavors and presentation were wonderful, and our guests truly enjoyed the meal.

However, we were disappointed with his service and manner, which fell short of our expectations. A few of our guests mentioned that he and his staff displayed an unfriendly demeanor while serving, which was disheartening to hear. Additionally, Chef Perez assured us before the wedding that he would personally ensure my husband and I received a plate of food at our sweetheart table. Unfortunately, this promise was not kept, and we ended up being among the last to eat at our own wedding. Thankfully, our wedding party stepped in to bring us a plate of food.

Another area of concern was timing. We provided a detailed schedule in advance to keep all vendors aligned, but Chef Perez and his team were not ready by cocktail hour, which caused the event to run about an hour behind schedule.

While we were thrilled with the quality of the food, we feel there’s room for improvement in terms of service, communication, and adherence...

I wish I could give more than five stars. I booked my daughter’s Sweet 16 Catered event almost a year ago just had it yesterday 9/13. Exceptional service from beginning to end. From food tasting to my menu picks, to to the final event always informative and so friendly. When it was the week of the party Chef Heber Perez reached out we discussed final details. It was all about how I wanted things. While he could not be there himself he assured me Abbie (his mother in law) would be there, which I met her at the beginning instantly fell in love with her, she greeted me with open arms. The way they set up it was exceptional. The food 10/10 you could smell it when you walk in and the taste was even better than the smell. All my guest are raving about the food the day after. The Service 100/10 could not ask for better service and they put food aside for the birthday girl as she requested when we first met them...

After experiencing poor customer service from another catering company, we were so grateful to find Latin Kitchen Catering through The Knot and they exceeded all of our expectations! Abel and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were so down-to-earth, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to making our wedding day special. Not only was the food delicious, but they went above and beyond in every way, from serving our guests with care to even cutting our wedding cake. Their level of service and attention to detail made all the difference, and so many of our guests raved about how wonderful they were. If you’re looking for a catering company that truly cares about their clients and delivers an amazing experience, I highly recommend Latin Kitchen Catering!
