The play itself we loved. I thought it was the best one Patti has written in years! We laughed a lot at this one, and we love to laugh at these plays at Christmas time. There wasn't an overwhelming amount of music which we liked too. The characters and actors were awesome! Loved it. Started with that Saturday people in our seats i purchased so we had to sit at a different table! The food, on the other hand.....it was terrible compared to the last place they'd been at for the last few years. I always loved the food there! I had the cheese filled shells, hardly any sauce on them, and dry. Not flavorful, typical wedding type food. The only thing liked at our full table was the salmon. When I asked for more dressing for my salad because their was very little ranch on it, the waitress was visibly irritated. They took forever to get a drink because they said they only had one bartender on duty for the restaurant and play meal. Very disappointed in only two choices for desert. The cheesecake was the only good one. So loved the play, unhappy with what I paid for the food vs what I got. No option to buy appetizers either...
Read moreThe two stars has nothing to do with the food, just the play. The food was delicious, I had the beef and salmon duet meal and it was amazing! The service and atmosphere were great! Now the show was a different story. We went to see "Halo, It's Me" at the dinner theater on 12/28. They spoke so fast I couldn't understand half of what they said (we were at the front center table) Several actors were overwhelmingly obnoxious. It exhausted me. They were so loud in some parts, I needed ear plugs. I wanted to walk out at halftime break. The cheesecake we had during break was absolutely scrumptious however. That's the first time I was ever disappointed in a play. The little girl was supposed to be sick as she had a serious disease. You wouldn't have known it by the energy she had throughout the play. On a positive note, it was amazing how she could remember all of her lines at age 10 as she had a very large part. Bravo to her! It was a great storyline but definitely too loud. Too much yelling...
Read moreWhenever my wife and I travel from North Carolina to Minnesota during the holidays, attending The Season's Dinner Theatre is always a must! This was our third time enjoying one of their productions, and as always, it did not disappoint. Oh Crud, It’s Christmas was both hilarious and heartwarming, with a well-written story and outstanding performances. We especially enjoyed the comedic portrayal of the Georgia family moving to Duluth—it hit close to home for us, being just one state from the Georgia line. The actress’s southern accent was spot-on and added an extra layer of charm to the show. If you’re looking for a fun, festive, and memorable experience, I highly recommend adding The Season's Dinner Theatre to your...
