The ladies that work here are very friendly. The store is always clean and colorful without reaching a claustrophobic and overstimulating effect.

I'll admit I have not bought many things here because I am a yarn crafter. However I do have my amazon packages delivered here for safety from local theft and have found the process of using this pickup location to be very nice. My kids look forward to a lolly pop and seeing the sweet dog, Macaroni. When I needed needle and thread for Christmas tree decorations you know I got it there. When I have a need that a quilt shop can fix, I know they can help me from the stages of ignorant to fully accomplished.

In the meanwhile, I like just being in their shop when I pick up my Amazon deliveries using the Hub option. If you live in Empire and have your deliveries stolen, this option has been a great one. Their store is also very accessible to people who prefer to not use a car, even though the sidewalk ends a few blocks before you arrive. This shop on Cape Arago Highway is a local treasure we just discovered. With many grandchildren to make quilts for, this shop is a much needed go-to. Clean, cozy and well-kept. Surprisingly varied selection of fabrics with many themes to choose from including classic pastel, bold colors, nature, children's interests, holiday, patriotic and eclectic -- something for everyone. They've tucked material of every sort into every nook and cranny, like a treasure hunt. I’ve been on a 3 day retreat in April and it was awesome. Wonderful selection of fabrics, notions, and many other treasures. Great food and conversation. Linda was so friendly and hospitable that we felt like family. Can’t wait to go again.

I just returned from a 1 day Embroidery Machine Boot Camp. As a beginner I learned so much about my machine and different techniques. Linda is a wealth of information.
