DH Pace Texas — Local services in Coppell

Called in Saturday for a storefront door repair. I’m located in Waco and opened my conversation with that information and my address. The lady who answered the phone explained it would be a $480 minimum for them to show up Saturday. I asked what the price would be for Monday, which she explained would cost $39 + the first hour ($160). I agreed and we scheduled the appointment.

Monday at 3pm the technician called to inform us he was on the way and he verified if we were ok with paying for their drive time. Which we were not informed of and not ok with. When I explained to him what the woman on the phone said his words were “she does this a lot.”

I don’t know who hired or runs this operation but I’ve filed a complaint with the State Comptroller to have them look in to this as a bait and switch or potential matter of fraud. This being verified as an ongoing occurrence by an employee is enough for me to add this company to a short but growing list of companies I won’t do business with nor recommend.

If I could give them 0 Stars I would. Buyer beware. This company is very unprofessional and very unorganized. I was coordinating a project and had to pay for three trip charges for the other party as the installers no showed on the first installation date, then didn't have the glass for the doors on the 2nd installation date, and didn't have the frames fabricated for the third date. If i had not already paid a deposit I would not have moved forward with their work. Go elsewhere where you time, money, and business is valued. Wonderful customer service. After trying to get a diagnosis for a maglock door not locking and playing phone tag, and being passed around for 3 days.
