Spanish Schoolhouse — Local services in Coppell

Spanish Schoolhouse of Coppell is a wonderful place to send your child to preschool and kindergarten. We originally chose this school because we are a dual culture family - American and Argentine - and we want our kids to speak both english and spanish.

Not only has my son learned so much in the year he has attended, but he is more socially confident. On his first day of preschool he wouldn't let go of my hand and cried when I left him. Fast forward to the end of the school year and he is loves going every morning, adores his teachers, and has made many new friends that we regularly see outside of school.

This is such a special school, not like any others we considered for him. From the moment you walk in the door your child is greeted with smiles, high fives, hugs, and most importantly, love. I think that's the best part - I felt like the teachers genuinely care for the kids.

In terms of academics, my son went from not even wanting to hold a pencil or knowing the alphabet at all to actually recognizing the entire alphabet and being able to write the letters in one year. His spanish has improved considerably - when he started he didn't want to speak spanish at all, and after one year he will switch to spanish when we speak it to him.

I recommend Spanish Schoolhouse of Coppell very highly if you want a loving, fun, and educational environment...

Our son (2.5 years old) has been going to SSH since summer 2017 and we have experienced a very warm, welcoming and caring atmosphere right from the beginning.

We felt absolutely confident leaving our boy with the pleasant teachers at SSH due to their kind personalities, the fact that they show how much they care and the way they interact with the kids. It felt right from day one that everyone knew our son by his name, everyone was always so excited when he arrived in the mornings (and they still are!), they are on top of things when it comes to how much he eats, drinks, whether he has a rash, and any other important or fun facts during the day.

They always prepare activities that nurture the kids' social and fine motor skills, they sing, play and conduct creative tasks on a daily basis. The fact that he not only learns an additional language (no one at home speaks Spanish; and it works!) but also experiences the south American way and culture is definitively expanding his horizon.

While we would like to commend all teachers at SSH in Coppell, Jennifer and Missy raise the bar when it comes to being professionals who love kids, their job and their co-workers! Overall, we are very happy with the decision of choosing SSH for our toddler and can only recommend everyone to send their kids...

I could not be more thrilled about my son's experience at Spanish Schoolhouse for preschool! The staff is so warm and friendly, and each student is enthusiastically welcomed every morning. The teachers obviously go out of their way to plan fun activities and lessons. They frequently dress up for holidays or lesson themes, in addition to decorating the classrooms, so the environment could not be more fun for the students. And the school is amazing at communicating with parents! Not only do we receive monthly schedules and reminders, but I also receive daily photos and updates of my son at school! My son loves to see the photos after school so he can show me all he did during the day. He did not know Spanish before he started at the school, but now he is excited to share the Spanish words and songs he is learning.
