Rabbit Fest — Local services in Copperas Cove

This year was my first time going in the 4 years I've lived here. I have to say I wasn't all that impressed. Everything was super expensive and not very exciting. There were a ton of vendors, and I think that's really the only thing that made being there even worth it. It was difficult for a whole lot of people because 99% of the food trucks, as well as the rides and games, only took cards. A lot of people like myself try to stay away from swiping a card and prefer to use cash, so we were turned away. Luckily, all the vendors took cash and a couple of the food trucks, or there would have been literally nothing for us to do. Im not sure my family and I will be returning next year. The Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce is unorganized and unprofessional. Spent a lot of money to be a vendor at Rabbit Festival. The staff couldn't plan or organize the many vendors and resorted to positioning food vendors away from the actual event near trash dumpsters. All of the vendors had to relocate and find their own spot or lose money. The worst display of a Chamber organized event I have ever seen. If the vendors are expected to find their own spot, it should have been mentioned prior to arriving and set up. Unorganized, Panic Stricken, Unsupportive and Unwelcoming. They make you pay for parking in City park. It use to be only $2 a car load which wasn't so bad now its up to $10, I use to go for the funnel cakes. They use to be big and inexpensive now they are small and outrageously priced and they are horrible. No rabbits,no good concerts, no good rides but outrageously priced, outrageously priced horribly discussing food. You have more family fun at a shopping center carnival . They are bad too.
