What's not to love about Bree's Upscale Resale? This is definitely a 5-star store with a 5-star mission.

As a non-profit organization, every person should support Bree's mission. They do a lot for this community, and how they manage to keep breast cancer prevention and awareness in the forefront is impressive given today's easily distracted consumers. They help women afford life-saving mammograms too, along with providing post-surgical assistance, like wig fittings and mastectomy bras. Breast cancer doesn't discriminate. After all, male and female, young and old, everyone is affected by breast cancer.

As a thrift store, their selection of women's clothing, plus sizes, undergarments, special occasion dresses, purses, belts, shoes, scarves and jewelry is excellent. The clothes are always clean and wrinkle free. (There is no funky "Goodwill" smell.) Product turnover is high, so there's always something new. The men's, junior's and young children's sections are smaller, but still nice.

As a mom with 3 teenagers, I appreciate being able to send my kids there for clothes and costume pieces, knowing that whatever they choose, it won't break the bank. Their prices are quite reasonable, especially given the quality of clothes. My kids don't shop there as often as I do, but they love having a local thrift store option to check out with their friends.

Both the owner and the staff are super helpful too. They always check to make sure you have a bright pink stamp-card. After $50 in spending, you get $10 off. They'll let you combine cards too. Once a month there's a half-price sale on Saturday, although I don't know which Saturday that is. So go shopping at Bree's. You won't be disappointed by their selection, and you'll probably be pleasantly surprised at how much money you save and how many bags of clothes...

Had a note on the door saying they were closing at 3. My daughter and I walked in (door wasn't locked or anything) at 2:47. We were met immediately by a woman inside the front door who refused to allow us inside, even after I pointed out that I had seen the sign saying they closed at 3 and it was not yet 3. If you wanted to close at 2:45, maybe that's what your sign...
