update
I received a call from this location and they were extremely helpful in helping me to feel heard. I have upped their rating because of understanding better what I was dealing with. I appreciate their true concern for the customer. Thank you.
I recently had a hub replaced on our vehicle at this shop and steering knuckles and an alignment. I contacted them back because of noise near the tire that they replaced the hub. I told them I would bring it in to have them look at it. I got new tires put on the car and when they were installing them, they told me that the CV axle was leaking. I contacted Christian Brother’s because they did not inform me that my CV axle was leaking. When changing the hub, you have to be careful because the bolts are right up against the CV joint. At the time I had my tires put on, they said nothing about a transaxle leak. (That is in regard to another review of Christian Brother’s in Aubrey)
I had taken the car to Christian Brother’s through Caliber Collision for warranty work. They were pleasant in the beginning but when I told them that I had a leak in my CV axle they said that they were not responsible. I asked them why they didn’t inform me of the leak when they were doing the hub. You wouldn’t be able to miss it since you are up against it when replacing the hub. That left me with the opinion that it was not leaking prior to the hub replacement. They insisted that it wasn’t their responsibility and so I returned to Caliber Collision to inform them of what had happened. This led them to have the car taken to a different Christian Brother’s in Aubrey.
Unfortunately my experience with them was not much better. Two different shops and failed twice, I won’t be taking my vehicle to a Christian...
Read moreIf you value your time, money, and sanity, steer clear of this auto repair shop. The audacity they displayed in overcharging and under-delivering is nothing short of shocking.
Starting with their outrageous pricing - they had the gall to charge me $100 for Mobil 1 5W-30 oil, when any local shop sells it for nearly half the price! Do the math. Seven quarts of oil at their inflated rate costs a whopping $14.28 per quart, which is highway robbery by any standard.
Their so-called service times aren't any better. They promised to have my car ready by lunchtime (around 1:00 PM, if we're being generous), yet my car was still "being worked on" at 2:00 PM. When it was finally ready at 6:00 PM, I had wasted my entire day waiting for a simple oil change, brake fluid flush, and inspection. It doesn't take a certified mechanic to know that such a delay is utterly absurd.
Frankly, their combination of sky-high prices and snail-paced service isn't just poor business; it feels like an outright scam. If this is their standard practice, they really need to reconsider their business model, or at least hire competent mechanics who can get the job done within a reasonable time.
In short, avoid this place like the plague. There's no reason to waste your hard-earned cash and precious time on a mechanic shop that doesn't respect its customers or the value of honest,...
Read moreFirst, I'm not an avid "review writer". However, sometimes you feel you must. CBA Corinth is the ONLY place you need to take your car, but not just for the sake of your car. Everyone in that place cares for YOU first! My wife and I broke down on a Friday evening about 2 hours away. With 3 kids in tow under the age of 8, this was going to be a challenge. "Luckily" we broke down right in the parking lot of a Honda dealership. We have a Honda Odyssey so we were in luck. So we thought. Except that they were 30 minutes from closing and to make a long story short, they were not willing to even give us the time of day until Monday of the next week. No one even came out to the car except for a salesman trying to convince us to trade in our car for a newer one. We called Kyle at CBA for advice on what to do. His advice was to find a fun place to eat with the family, sit tight and he would take care of it right then and there. We honestly felt so bad we tried to talk him out of it... but failed. Within 2 hours Kyle and Tyler were meeting us out there, loaner car in tow. We left for home while they stayed to get the car loaded up and towed back to the shop. Then we get a call the next day that our car is fixed and ready for pick up! This was on Saturday! They aren't even open on Saturday! I told my wife that these are the acts of kindness that you never forget....
