Nostalgia coming back and remembering being a teen and going to the Coshocton County Fairgrounds is what I experienced today.
Today was great weather and good parking, they have really changed up the layout of some of the rides, or in some cases removed those rides entirely.
Really missed not seeing the Arcade and the Giant Ferris wheel not being there which was a bummer.
Lots of food stalls were pretty evenly priced across the board. If you are looking for corn dogs there is a small vendor tucked away in a side lane that sells them for $4 compared to everyone else at $6 or a "foot long corndog" for $7
And a really awesome shaved ice place also off the side lanes that will refill anycup with their ice and syrups. They sell a "small" for $4 which was absolutely massive for what is expected from fair sales.
Overall great time, great food, price of admission...

Are you serious? This lil town has lost all their factories. Family's incomes are very limited these days. Then when you get into the fair, it it smaller. So we had to pay more for less. Less vendors. Less rides. Empty spaces under the grandstand. Food and drink prices to high. This is a small local fair. Come on think of you people. We use to go every day of the fair. That is money spent every day. Now families go one day. A friend of mine has 5 grandkids. It would of cost her 60 dollars to get them and her in the door. She said she wasn't going this year. You are loosing money with these high...
Read moreWe've been there several years, both on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons. 1st, it's kid friendly. The atmosphere itself, the rides and activities. Each night, the grandstand has something entertaining, just bring earplugs for motor events. The barns for the animals are well laid out and clean (for livestock barms). Watching some of the animals get judged as always entertaining. We enjoy the fair. It's $15 to enter which seems like a lot for a fear. But the price of entrance also includes free entrance to all...
