Tease Salon — Local services in Costa Mesa

First I’d like to say the quality of the hair sold by this salon is GREAT ! The problem is the customer service. I had an awful experience ( beaded extensions ) with Megan * and then later with her co worker Cassie. Before seeing Megan I sent her MANY pics of what I was looking for as well as showing the models hairs that she had done before me and what I wanted. She said she was too busy to accept to do any type of coloring & even for me to pay for a simple wash . She refused that. She then went and chose very dark & yellowish extensions for me that had NOTHING to do with my goal & I had to throw $700 + dollar of hair in trash !! But still !!! I tried to see her again and PAY new extensions & PAY her service , but she then refused me as client. No problem … I came back a few months later and bought new & lighter extensions with them and PAID again and notice it was weird that 2 other stylists cancelled important aptts last minute with me… I was heartbroken but then finally weeks later found a stylist that accepted to serve me called Cassie * I was so happy to install my brand new extensions and notice this new stylists was rude & cold. I didn’t think anything out of it . I’m nice , kind , respectful and a beer generous tipper $$$ and I thought she was just in a bad mood. When I got home , the extensions started sticking out & falling - sides & also lot of pain ( too tight ). I came back 2 weeks later for her to fix it and I PAID. Her again a 2nd time … just to see her rushing to laugh & gossip about me to the previous stylist Megan . I had my 5yo disabled child wigh me !!!!!! Again, quality of HAIR is great. But horrendous unprofessional customer service & high school drama....

There's an upbeat positive vibe the second you walk into Tease salon. All of the stylists are darling and sweet. ONE stylist in particular is Maicie who I'm lucky enough to say is my stylist. Maicie is the sweetest most talented stylist who definitely knows color and extention application to perfection. She listens to my new ideas and requests and really listens. She always gets it spot on. Her method of putting in my extentions is the best I've ever had in my life and I've been doing extentions for 35 years. She honestly has a technique like no one else I've ever experienced. They last long and her application methods never hurts... doesn't pull the stands too tight which is healthier for my hair.
