It’s hard to find the words to say enough amazing things about my experience working with Erin Cole on my wedding dress. I wanted to have a dress designed for me for a lot of reasons—1) my personality and my vision for my wedding are very non traditional, and it felt essential to me to have a dress to match, a one-of-a-kind that makes a big statement, 2) everyone has a different body type—and I wanted to feel beautiful in my dress and show off all my curves at the same time, 3) I felt very strongly about my specific vision for my dress: I wanted it to be black (what I had always wanted since I was a child) . To say Erin delivered on all fronts is an understatement.

First, Erin is so kind and warm and made me feel comfortable instantly. She is incredibly experienced, knowledgeable and professional, and her passion for her work came across in every little detail throughout. I could tell she was excited about my vision and it made the process so much fun. I instantly knew I was in a good hands and could breathe a sigh of relief at the beginning of my wedding planning journey, knowing I would get the dress of my dreams from Erin. Her vision is off the charts.

I was impressed by how personalized everything was. Every little decision was run by me to ensure everything was exactly what I wanted. Erin kept me updated every step of the way—it was so fun and exciting to receive regular progress photo updates!

If you love Erin’s work but live long distance—don’t worry! I chose Erin in spite of the long distance because in all my extensive researching, her work spoke to my style and vision the most. I was so pleasantly surprised and impressed how much of the process Erin was able to do virtually. I travelled to Newport a couple of times in the whole process, for my final fitting after the dress was done. All the measurements, planning meetings, even the initial fitting she made everything so exciting. At times I felt like she was more excited than I was. The dress and accessories fit absolutely perfectly at the final fitting with no alterations needed. Her process could not be more smooth and efficient.

I think the photos of the final product speak for themselves. Our guests were blown away by how beautiful and intricate my dress was. My phone has been blowing up with compliments for three weeks since the wedding—even strangers have reached out to me on social media asking how I got such a stunning piece of art to wear at my wedding. Erin Cole Couture Bridal fulfilled all of my wedding dress #goals. After searching endlessly all over Orange County and Beverly Hills, I went to Erin Cole as a last option before my mom left town. (Because it's such a small boutique, I didn't think there was any point in going.... I mean, I tried on hundreds of gowns.... How could this little boutique possibly have something I hadn't already seen?!) We walked in without an appointment on a Tuesday morning (in workout clothes and no makeup) and quickly scanned the racks while telling the sales associate - Debbie - that I simply couldn't find what I wanted anywhere. Debbie asked a few questions and then said "You mean like this??" and pointed to an absolute masterpiece hanging on the back wall. We were in a hurry with mom's flight leaving in only 2 hours and Debbie urged me to quickly try it on, just in case. Upon stepping into my dream wedding gown with Debbie's careful assistance, I can only describe the feeling as true Bliss. I cried instantly upon seeing myself in the mirror and just knew it was a match made in heaven. My mom got to witness (and film!!) the entire thing and it was perfect. Debbie and Nazee (the alterations goddess) were flawless throughout the entire process and I highly recommend them to any SoCal bride.
