I cannot say enough wonderful things about Stephanie! After being away from the salon for nine months due to health challenges, I was nervous about getting back into a hair routine. Stephanie made the entire experience comfortable and confidence-boosting.

I visited the salon to get my hair cut and colored during November 2020. I have been a customer of David Salon and hair stylist Katherine S. for years now. I am extremely impressed with the safety measures the salon has put in place for COVID-19. I was very hesitant about getting my hair cut and was trying to wait for a vaccine. However, I called the front desk staff and Katherine to learn about the COVID-19 safety procedures. You can wait outside before your appointment. Everyone wears masks, there is plexiglass at the front desk, the front desk staff take your temperature. Katherine went above and beyond to let me know what was sanitized and every time anyone's hair is washed in the bowls that station is sanitized right afterwards. Katherine asked me many questions during my service to make sure I was comfortable, I kept my mask on for the entire appointment. She even offered to open another salon door right next to her station - we kept the door open during the appointment. There were at least three doors open and there was good air flow. If you want to go on a less busy day I highly recommend a Monday or Tuesday. There was only 1 or 2 other stylists working in our part of the salon. Katherine also took every opportunity to socially distance from me when she wasn't working directly on my hair (for example, waiting for the hair dye to set or the toner). My hair looks beautiful and is so much lighter after my haircut. I have been extremely cautious about doing anything outside of my home but I just want to say thank you to David (the owner of the salon) and all the staff, especially Katherine for providing a safe and wonderful experience. Rarely do you hear, women or men, tell another guy "hey nice haircut". But over the years, I've had more compliments on the actual haircut, not the hair, but the haircut than I would have ever thought. Not only is David an expert stylist, but an incredible business man. He seems to live both business and life by the "Golden Rule". For those of you not familiar with the "Golden Rule" here it is. The Golden Rule or law of reciprocity is the principle of treating others as one would wish to be treated oneself. It is a maxim of altruism seen in many human religions and human cultures. I've been having my hair cut by David, since before, "The David Salon". I've done so because of the reasons noted. You can feel David's presence by the people he hires, all REAL and down to earth.
