I walked an hour from where I was staying to see this. Although it showed on Google they'd be open, they were not. After walking around the house, I was approached by somebody who informed me they had "personnel issues" that day and had to close. The 3 people who were there were busy with maintenance tasks, but 1 took the time to open up the house and give me and another gentleman the tour. It was $8. Read moreMy kids recently came home from school and told us they had a visit from Nathaniel Greene and he told them about himself. They were fascinated he was from Coventry. We called and the caretaker was so accommodating and a offered to allow us to visit on a day it is not open. She was awesome! We spent a hour and she answered so many questions that the kids had. What a great opportunity to experience some local history. It should be said, I've lived in Coventry for 20+ years.
