Meal Works — Local services in Coventry

Meal Works recently catered my husband's 50th birthday party. Due to the fact that I had not planned to have a party, let alone one with 80 guests, I was scrambling around for a caterer two weeks before the event. When I compared the prices of some well-known caterers, I was shocked. I understand that food is not cheap, but the cost was outrageous. A friend of mine suggested Meal Works when I was about to place an order with a competitor. When I called, they were fully booked for deliveries that day. However, they offered to cater the meal if I wanted to pick it up in the morning and heat it up myself. I decided to use them since they were so much more cost-effective than others. The quality of the food was my only concern, but after the 10th guest came up to me and praised the food, I knew I had made the right decision. Everything was amazing! The only regret I have is ordering too much because I was concerned that I would not have enough. I absolutely would recommend Meal Works to anyone in need of a caterer. I can’t say enough good things about Meal Works…..actually I take that back….GREAT things!!

Jason is the rare individual that just “get’s it”. Our catering job of 65 people was treated like a royal wedding. Jason took the time to meet with us and make suggestions for a memorable grad party. So many people asked where the food came from because it was that good. (Please get the meatballs!!)

Not only does Jason run a successful catering company based on his quality and customer service, but I found out he’s constantly giving back to the community of Coventry…and does it without fanfare. We don’t live in town, but it’s pretty awesome to know that the caterer that you’re doing business with gives back and doesn’t take his success for granted.

I have attempted to go here twice. I heard about their all star food upon moving here. Both times I stopped by their store front, they were closed but it wasn't apparent as the door was open and there were people inside. In both instances, the person who "greeted" me was incredibly rude. This is the hardest business to get a handle on that I've ever seen. No doubt his business is busy and he doesn't need new customers but how hard is it to post your hours so that people who want to try it can. (I came here to post this after seeing that they have changed their hours for today...not from the owner but from his marketer...not on his FB page..how would a new customer...
