Dollar General — Local services in Coventry

Employees are wonderful! The store itself, 85% of the shelves are either empty [unless you consider empty boxes and broken products useful) or so full and disorganized its frustration beyond belief. Many isles are filled with stock or empty stock boxes, to the point it's a fire hazard. To corporate, your solution is absolutely NOT blaming your employees. Anytime I've ever said to them how ridiculous it is that they are staffed to a minimum and are held to maximum expectations... They answer, "I'm always busy. I don't mind. It's no big deal." Not ONCE did anyone agree forget respond in a negative way. The Coventry store today was bad. Please give your stores the staff and respect they deserve. You claim to "treat" everyone from customer service to CEO with the same respect but as an outsider. I feel horrible for how you under pay, under staff and, over work your customer service employees. I go to the West Greenwich general store I really like the boy employee there he's very helpful on top of everything. I just don't understand how you let your employees work in the conditions of no AC you pay them Billy minimum wage you make tons of money there's Dollar general's popping up everywhere and you refuse to fix the AC at that store. First time to this store and the last time! Most aisles were blocked with products that needed to be placed so you had to turn around. One freezer already out of order! The clincher was seeing a milk delivery sitting in the aisle and unattended. When I questioned the cashier he said that it was delivered 30 minutes ago and he was alone and couldn’t get to it but he had a four hour window or it would be no good!, I told him that 30 minutes was too long.
