Rosebud's Real Food — Local services in Covington

Since the 2nd Street Market has been mostly shut down, I have been super happy to find some of my favorite local vendors in this store. The owner is very helpful about which seasonings pair with what types of food and she has a very large variety of spices and spice blends for reasonable prices. You can find Hartzler Dairy products here, some really amazing cookies that you won't find anywhere else that have fresh herbs in them, Twisted River Coffee, and all kinds of other tasty treats.

My favorites are I love Garlic, Jane's Italian, Herb N Kick (the best cajun spice ever), Dilly Licious, Taco Seasoning, Rainbow Peppercorns, Sassy Salt, and Buttermilk Ranch Seasoning (try this in potato soup or in eggs or really in everything). I have been using Rosebud products for years. The only time I could find what I wanted was at a festival or event. My daughter has food allergies and it was a game changer when we discovered the diary free ranch mix. It’s delicious! Now that the Piqua, Ohio store is open I can get it whenever I need it. While shopping in the store, I decided to try the taco seasoning. I usually make my own, but this is handy to keep in the pantry. It is just the right mixture of spices and it’s so yummy! As of this review, Rosebud’s (the name coming from owner Amber’s childhood nickname by her Dad) celebrated the one-year mark of being in its present location at the southeastern edge of Covington, OH (it was formerly located in downtown Piqua). Then there was the greater celebration of a full decade in business. Both their store and their operations have expanded; many items are freshly and meticulously packaged on site.
