Amazing experience! After hearing friends' stories from going to other bridal stores feeling rushed, being limited to the amount of dresses they could try on, fighting for dressing rooms, not being helped in and out of dresses, feeling looked down upon because of their budget, etc, I knew that is something I didn't want and I was sort of nervous to shop for a wedding dress. My mom found Nicole's on Google, we read all the good reviews, and scheduled my first wedding dress shopping appointment. You definitely get a small-town one-on-one feel here which I'm sure isn't the case at chain stores or stores in bigger cities. I was the only one in the whole store and Nicole gave me her attention the entire time while helping me in and out of dresses, clipping and pinning, etc. She was not pushy at all but very helpful and laid back. I'm pretty laid back myself and I know right when I walk out of the dressing room usually if I like something or not. She didn't try to convince me to like things I didn't, but she listened to the things I liked/didn't and made recommendations that helped me find "the one". It was so nice to be the only one in the store and not feel rushed at all. She had a huge selection and I ended up trying on like 30 dresses but it was fun and didn't feel overwhelming at all. Plus her gowns are very affordable. I bought one off the rack thinking it was $1,500 as marked and when we checked out it was $500 something. I went into Nicole's to look for my wedding dress having in mind what I was looking for. But also I HATE SHOPPING. Especially trying on clothes let alone dresses, which I hate wearing as well. With all that aside I took my mom with me to look for a wedding dress, fully thinking I'm not going to find anything, nothing will fit, this is going to be terrible. BOY WAS I WRONG. From the moment I walked in Nicole made me feel welcome and comfortable. She looked at the picture I had of a dress I thought I wanted, she had one similar. I tried it on... was not a fan... tried on 2 more dresses. The second dress I tried on was it... it was NOTHING like what I thought I wanted but it was perfect. Nicole is now like family. If I could give Nicole 1000 stars I would! My original dress was from a Plus size specialty boutique in Pittsburgh that closed her doors with no notice and never ordered my dress that I'd been waiting 8 months for. Fast forward to 2 months before my wedding Nicole went above and beyond to work with her designers to get me over a dozen gorgeous gowns in my size within 2 weeks! She welcomed me with open arms like we were long lost sisters and found me an even better gown for my wedding! Being plus size can be hard to find gowns that look amazing and fit well, she maybe me feel like the beautiful women I am and comfortable trying on everything. She worked her butt off for me when she didn't have too and for that I will always have a special place in my heart for her and her wonderful boutique!...
