My mother-in-law went there and bought for one beige and was going to use them for slats for her bed. She asked if they could cut the wood Farm and they told her they don't normally do that but to tell the guy outback what size she wanted and he would cut them for her. She gave him the size that she wanted and he started cutting.. this guy obviously has no idea how to read a tape measure because they're it into boards the same length and not one of those four boards are the size we ask for. I called the store to complain and was told once the boards were cut they would not take them back.. I argued that I didn't cut them they cut them wrong, her response was we don't cut boards... well obviously you do because you cut these if you weren't going to cut them right you should have just refused to cut them. So she had the manager call me back. I explained the situation to the manager and pretty much the manager has the same attitude sir we don't cut boards okay obviously you do you just don't cut them right.. so I asked her what we were going to do about it and she said nothing you bought the boards my guy said he cut them right a verified them with my mother-in-law before she left and she said they were fine.. trust me folks my mother-in-law would not have done that.. she assumed the guy was professional and we did not find out about the boys until we got home. The manager said she was not going to do anything so my question her was I have to eat $20 and throw these boards away because you're incompetent employee doesn't know how to read a tape measure? Her response was I don't hire employees to read tape measures I hire those guys to load Lumber.. as far as I'm concerned this place is a joke the employees are incompetent and the management doesn't seem to care. I lost my mom in Feb of 2019, my dad in 2007 for some reason this year the Christmas tree just would not stay up due to the wind. This was the 1st Christmas without my mom. I went to Creola Ace Hardware to get some rebar to help hold the Christmas tree up. They did not have the size I need But without a step the lady (I wish I had gotten her name) said we will cut me a piece. Then when they brought it to me she said just go fix your mom's tree. She made me cry and a bad time a little better, My mother loved Christmas lights. And with the help from all the people at Creola Ace Hardware my mother had the brightest Standing Tall Christmas tree there. I can not Thank you enough for your help and the kindness you showed me. I am a customer for life, alone with my brother and sister....

I’m giving them a one because that’s the lowest that I can give. This was the poorest experience I have ever had in an ace hardware. They have sold equipment that does not work right and refused to take it back and inconvenience a customer to go to a shop to get it serviced. Then tried to explain that that is industry-standard which I must say is completely false. I will not nor will my company or employees ever shop at this location again. Piss...
