Dell Creek RV Park — Local services in Crosby

Quiet RV park full of mostly long term stay people. Seems to be mostly workers with a couple of families and was SUPER quiet. We rarely saw anyone. It is gated so we felt safe. There is a very busy train track running beside and behind the the park. It didn't bother us at all. There is a pond full of turtles and a few fish in the back with a nice area of covered trees perfect for a small get together. The gate leaving can kinda be tricky, but you'll figure it out. No one was in the office when we were there. There is a laundry shed but no showers or toilets. There are full hookups and concrete areas for your camper. Wi fo was pretty good too. A little sad there aren't any fire rings by the camper, but there is one down by the pond. It was a little inconvenient that there wasn't an outdoor table at the sites either. You're allowed 2 cars and additional 2 guests. Over all this is a nice park for the money and we would stay here again for a quick stay due to the quiet and location. I have lived at Dell Creek since it opened and I absolutely love living here! The owners are two of the sweetest women I have ever known and have gone above and beyond to make me feel at home. I have had so much fun fishing in the pond on the property and have caught some really big bass. My Grandloves enjoy fishing there too! As stated in a previous review my RV was the one that was robbed. It was an isolated incident and was caught on surveillance video. I appreciate the way Velma handled the situation and made sure my sweet pup was taken care of until I got home. The suspect has been caught as a result of their diligence in keeping in contact with the authorities and providing them with the videos. I have never felt unsafe. I wouldn’t give this place even 1 star however, google makes me to write this review! We called to reserve a site at this RV park, ourselves and another family we are traveling with. After reading the reviews we thought it would be a quiet place to reside for our time here. Upon making our reservation we went through the motions and told them about our children. We were then told she could not reserve our sites because of our children and the sites being close to the pond. However, if you look at the reviews people rave about how their kids loved this park because of the stocked pond and the playground. In fact if you look at the pictures there is a young boy out fishing on a dock by himself. Yet we were not aloud the sites because our children and the liability of them being near...
