Me and my wife have been waiting for this place to come up in the area, and we saw the previous building being renovated. We missed the soft opening but came the Friday after with our very young son. The first thing you notice is that you can actually see into the back kitchen before you enter the dining area. It is decorated very upscale, and the ambiance is great both in the dining area and patio area. They have a pretty decent selection of craft beer and wine, both local and foreign. We shared a local Texas bottle of shiraz for about $36, and the most it cost for a bottle of the higher end wine was around $65. The food was pretty good. They have 2 charcuterie boards to choose from. One of which was a vegetarian option. We choose the one with meat and cheese, which ran about $26. Most meals there run around $15, but the food is very good. We fed our son some things off the board but decided to get him a pizza that he decided not to eat, so we ended up eating it. The pizza crust was light, not greasy at all. It was quite good. The staff were very attentive considering the place was fairly busy. We will definitely be returning for special occasions. I foresee it getting busy on Valentine's Day. It is nice to have a rather more upscale place to dine in Crosby and not have to drive out of the way somewhere else. Highly recommend.

I came here for my first time with my husband for our anniversary. I booked a reservation on their website (which was very easy) and they had a table reserved for us. They still asked if there was a different table we’d like to sit at which we appreciated. Right away the bartender (male, dark hair) was amazing, super informative, and had high quality customer service skills. He was able to give my husband a great beer suggestion and followed up at our table to make sure he liked it. Our server (I wish I got her name because she was amazing) congratulated us on our anniversary and took care of us the whole way through. She suggested a Rose that was just what I was looking for. For dinner I had the Willie Nelson Burger and my husband had the Cajun Chicken. Everything was seriously delicious and I’m craving it again already! For dessert we had the Deep Fried Horchata Bites and while they look like little chicken nuggets they taste amazing! The cost was comparable to iguana joes while the atmosphere was comparable to a nice quality restaurant down town Houston. 10/10 recommend!

We recently visited Bridge and Barrel Wine Bar & Bistro in Crosby, Texas. The atmosphere was nice, but the food left us a bit underwhelmed. The burgers were on the dry side and the nachos came with chips that didn’t taste very fresh. On the upside, the charcuterie board was decent and paired well with the drinks. If you enjoy bar-style food with a wide variety of beer and wine, this could be a good fit. Just note that when we visited, several of the wines my wife was interested in ordering weren’t available from the menu. Overall, Bridge and Barrel may appeal more to those looking for a casual spot to grab a drink and some simple bites rather than a dining destination.

From the moment that you walk in, you can tell this is a jewel. First of all - my friend and I were greeted with smiles and a sincere welcome by more than one employee & we were visited by several employees ensuring we were happy and taken care of throughout the meal. Very refreshing! Our server was Hayley, and she was adorable & sweet. The restaurant is lovely & immaculate. The decor was well thought out, from the wooden, engraved menus to the layout of the tables & the super cool art & wall decor - very relaxing and cool vibe. We ordered wine that was very good and paired well with our selections - the Mini Garden Harvest Board and the Italian Meatballs. The Harvest board was filled with all kinds of nuts, breads, generous portion of fire roasted hummus, pickles (surprisingly tart), olives, crackers and jam & fresh fruit); There was only one type of cheese, but I don't think this was the focus of this board, but it was a nice cheese). The Italian Meatballs were absolutely my favorite thing! They were large & well-seasoned & the marinara sauce was obviously made by someone who knows their sauces - kudos! My friend is from New York - so she knows sauces! :) Thank you again for a delightful dining experience. We will...
