Kings Smoke Shop and More may look like a typical neighborhood smoke shop and fast food, but Kings Smoke Shop has much more appeal and an inviting feel when you exit the car and make your way into the shop. I stopped at the location during one of Cross Lanes' primary rush hours, around 5:45 or so, and was greeted and acknowledged within seconds. The shop was full and vibrant, with many customers and three employees scattered throughout the shop. My order was nothing more than a complex request from a very involved and on-the-go family. The order consisted of a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich Combo, Cheeseburger Combo, and a twenty count Wing Combo. All combos included fries and a canned beverage of choice. The selection of canned drinks was satisfying and provided an array of selections to meet anyone's drink preference. The French fries included in the combos were crinkled fries with a crispy exterior and fluffy interior. The fries were coated with seasoning, but a seasoning enhanced the fries and separated them from other variations of French fries. The Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich Combo was precisely what you thought it would be, but much more. A combination of fresh vegetables, tender meat, and soft bread, but a slight bit of crunchiness from being seared in butter. The Cheeseburger Combo was cooked thoroughly with light seasoning, no veggies, cheese, and an uncrispy bun (complex), lol. Lastly, the twenty count Wing Combo, wow. The wings had an excellent bone-to-meat ratio and were mechanically appealing because of the skin's size and bone and crunchiness. The sauce (Carolina Gold and Parmesan Garlic) was evenly coated on the wings and full of nothing but flavor. Talk about hands down the best wings in Cross Lanes. If you're commuting, working in the area, or residing in the community, this shop provides good quality food and customer service that can meet anyone's expectations. Thanks for going above and beyond and making every experience remarkable and a reason...
Read moreThe last time I was at this location it was Mama Rosa's. That place really went down hill and thankfully it did, because it brought in this new place. My first time there, I called in my order and was greeted on the phone by a gentleman who was very nice. Ordering was simple and I arrived about 5 minutes later. I walked in and was amazed at the change that happened inside. This place is so clean and nice. There are couches that are more comfy than my own inside to sit while your wait/relax. I ordered the chicken Philly cheesesteak and it was literally the BEST I've ever had. The bread was so fresh, the sandwich and fries were still hot even after driving home to eat. It was a lot of food for 9$ and you even get to choose what can of soda you want included. I will for sure be back and would recommend this place to anyone. It's so nice to have a great place to eat in the area. Between this place and T&M, I would have to say the 2 best places...
Read moreI bought a vape there yesterday. An employee highly recommended a brand that I donât usually buy. I didnât like it at all. I called the shop back (twice) and neither employee would let me exchange the vape. Totally disappointed and I wonât be back. There are two other shops that are close and I know one of them highly appreciates my business.
My response to the owner: I have worked in restaurants many, many years and yes they would offer to make you something else. As for you âknowingâ other shops. Ask Mo how much I spend in his shop, itâs quite a bit. I only stopped at kings because it was close to home. I donât want a discount, I wanted an exchange. Mo would have done this for me, so I will take my business there. I only took the advice of your clerk as she said how good these new vapes were. Iâm sorry I did now. Since I was trying something new, and she knew it, maybe she should have told me all sales were final. Very bad...
