First and foremost. Staff was amazing and friendly and helpful. The flower shop and garden center itself is amazing. My issue is this was the first time ordering a hand corsage here. Usually I go to Jewel and they are beautiful and priced well but limited on selection of flowers used. I saw countrysides selection online and went in person to order mine. The picture they showed vs what I got was subpar. I chose a $78 hand corsage and I know orchids are expensive but I’d expect to get the orchids they advertised in their photo. I asked for the roses to be changed to a yellow. Preferably a light yellow but explained I understand that they can’t control the shades that come in. I then paid and extra $18 for a nice rhinestone bracelet. Totaling $103. I did not receive $78 flowers. They gave me white roses instead. When I went back I was told they probably went with white because they didn’t have a light yellow. Honestly, unless I say to go with whatever. Then they should have called me to ask if I wanted bright yellow or a different color. If the only two colors I asked for are yellow roses and white orchids, no florist should take it upon themself to choose a different main color. I even showed a picture of the dress when I ordered. When I brought back for them to correct. They must have been out of flowers for prom weekend and only could offer me 4 small, tiny and not in the best shape roses. Staff was very kind and tried to fix it. But I feel I was way over charged for what I was given. They didn’t refund me any money for error and giving me less than what I ordered. Don’t show me a picture of giant orchids and give me orchids that are less than half the size shown. I even ordered weeks in advance. Enough time to order what I wanted to make the corsage right. Or they could have even spray painted the roses. When people pay a lot more for better. They are going to expect better. This corsage flower wise was only worth $40-50 max. Not the $78 they charged. Extremely disappointed for several reasons:
The cards were switched even though I was very specific over the phone about which card belonged to which arrangement
There were no ribbons not even white even though it was very clear they were to be delivered for a viewing and funeral
After spending $250 (not including tax) on a cross arrangement it’s very small for the price and honestly I am not impressed by its quality compared to all the other arrangements.
Customer service was not helpful. After calling up and being told not even a ribbon could be sent and the cards were switched because there were a lot of orders (that’s not an excuse especially after spending $350 pre tax on 2 arrangements) and that the manager would not be on until Monday and nothing could be done (by Monday it’s already the funeral so by then it’s obviously way too late). Took not only the funeral director calling but also my husband calling for them to even offer to at least send ribbons the following day.
For the price and customer service I would not recommend their arrangements for a wake/ funeral. Extremely disappointed! It’s bad enough they made a mistake on the cards and did not provide any ribbons but trying to justify the price point with such a disappointing arrangements to your in-laws that you helped order for during a wake btw was just the icing on the...
