Definetely the best place i've been to to buy booze. I dont drink much anymore, but when I did my co-workers and I would always stop on the way home to buy some drinks. They have a huge selection to choose from. The prices are reasonable. But the thing I like most about it is the guy who owns the store. He's really awesome and my buddy Eric wasnt sure what Whiskey to get, so the owner let him take a small shot to sample....what place does that? Eric ended up buying it. Customer service there is really why its a great place. And if your a regular the owner will always chat with you. He really takes pride as owning the best store, and always can recommmend what to buy if your not sure. You can tell he is a small business owner, because he doesnt treat you like a grocery store would...he genuinely wants to make sure you get what you want and can always give recommendations if you know nothing about alcohol. I dont go much anymore because I rarely drink, but when I do this is the place I like going to. Recently he hired a woman to cover so he doesnt have to live there, and she is also very nice and helpful. Normally I dont give reviews because, like all of you, I dont have time to review everywhere I go and everything I buy, but sometimes when you are treated almost like a family member you decide to take the time to write a review...I just got back from there....hadnt seen him in months and he still remembered me...at first I was shocked that he still remembered me...but then I wasnt....that's the kind of...

I just have to say I'm leaving 5 stars for Crystal Lake Food & Liquor. My first time meeting Suresh was a great experience. I told him about this new bourbon that I had tried a few times and believe it or not the next time I went in I couldn't believe it! There it was placed on the shelf just calling me to grab a bottle (so you know I had to 🤷). I typically go into the store in the evenings when Christine is working and wow 👌 she knows the store very very well and i have to say im impressed how knowledgeable she is. I'll come into the store with the most random questions and she knows exactly how to answer them. All in all, 5 out of 5 would recommend this store to anyone...

I have been coming to this store for a while and would usually just get basic beer for our hockey game because the store is conveniently located by the rink. I have not been in here for a little while because COVID had us not playing hockey. I was so pleasantly surprised when I went in there! I am a huge craft beer nerd and to see things like Noonwhistle in store with good dates blew my mind. Super convenient, great prices and phenomenal customer service! Also the selection of whiskey was second to none in the area! If you like good beer or a good whiskey do yourself a favor and stop in here! It is worth it I can’t say it enough this place...
