On 11/27/2020 I returned to this location, placed guns on law-a-way due to a store/company computer glitch that would not allow me to take them then. I wanted to my some ammo and magazines. Grayson stated the limit was four. I advised him he had sold me 8 last week and I had not seen a limit posted. I advised I would buy four, walk to my truck, drop them off and come back and repeat that until I had purchased the remaining magazines (approximately 20 left in the box). I asked for a department manager to be called so I could ask if I could just buy the remaining magazines at one time. Although Grayson did call for a csm my request seemed to anger him. Before the csm could arrive he said angrily, "just take them all" as he walked around the counter and grabbed one magazine out the box for himself as he stated, and placed the magazine on the shelf behind the counter. Another salesperson called out to him and stated, "we have a whole unopened box still". I placed the magazines on the counter along with the ammo, and Grayson refused to ring me up at that counter, telling me I had to go to the front to check out. You know, where the real crown was. I took the ammo and mags to the front. Seeing two individuals that appeared to be supervisors, I approached them with the intent of asking if they could post a limit sign on limited items to avoid others having questions about limits. I approached both individuals and simply asked are either of you a boss? A short blonde haired lady replied, what do need. I was expecting a yes, how can I help you, or no, but we would love to help you and if not we can call a manager. I was not expecting "are either of you a boss" to be answered with "what do you need'. I responded with "I need you to answer my question". I was then asked "what do you want". I said never mind, I will return these items I was going to purchase because you workers are some of the rudest, nastiest people I've ever dealt with. I had just witnessed Grayson in the gun section barking at people, talking to them like they were dogs. I even heard people in that section discussing that very issue while I was in the gun section. As I turned to walk away from the two individuals at the front the lady told the male standing next to her "i answered his question". I turned and advised my question was are either of you a boss and she had NOT answered my question. She then stated she was THE store manager and wasn't it obvious she was as "i'm standing here watching my front end". I advised her in my experience the person standing watching the front end was usually a front end manager,, not the store manager. I also advised it was not obvious as she did not have her name tag or title anywhere on her person that anyone could see. I asked her what her name was and she said Angela. I went to return the items to the proper location and was approached by Stacey who asked if she could help. I explained to her the situation, explained to her my wondering why they didn't post their limits on items clearly for everyone to see. (I guess it wasn't toilet paper). Stacey apologized for my experience at the store that day and advised she would make sure the items were returned to the proper location. Through this whole encounter, the only one who raised a voice above a normal conversation was Grayson, who seemed to do so as part of his normal daily routine. I left that store and went to a locally owned business in Crystal River, called Mallards Gun Store on hwy 44. I purchased everything I put on lay-a-way and the items I intended to walk out of RK that day with. Everything I intended to purchase was actually less expensive than RK expect for one item. They OWNER called me after I left to answer a question I had while at the store. THAT is customer service. I will not do business with this RK location again. Realizing today I should by locally every...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAlthough I live 35 miles from this store I visit it regularly passing by Tractor Supply on the way. I purchase tractor implements, hydraulic fluids, batteries, tires, ammo, guns etc⦠to the tune of thousands of dollars each year. Until recently I have always been satisfied with both service and quality of products I purchase, but lately their service has become non existent. Due to the distance I must drive I usually call ahead to verify the item Iām seeking is in stock, this practice has worked well for me over the years. Not so much any more, itās difficult to get someone on the phone from different departments to verify availability of an item, usually requiring several phone calls to connect. Today was the worst and very well may be the last. Before making the 35 mile drive I simply wanted to verify the product I needed was in stock in the paint department, five calls and thirty minutes still unable to talk to anyone in that department. On the fifth attempt I explained to the girl answering the phone I just wanted to verify the availability of a product, her response was āwell we only have one person in that department and Iām not sure what he is doing right now, but you are welcome to drive the 35 miles if thatās what you choose to doā Not the response I would expect to someone who patronizes your establishment as often as I do⦠I made a much shorter drive to Tractor Supply and made my purchase, a practice I will more than likely do more often...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThree complaints:. Hogs with Dogs and gate to the mall and filthy restrooms.
I'm done with shopping here. I've bought several guns here over last year and good deals if on sale. But, just not going into a store with filthy dogs and their ignorant owners anymore. Last time two huge dogs laying in aisle by cash registers and on top of that had employees playing with them and then handling food for customers.
I was there and couple had two large dogs and letting them stick their noses into the large bags of popcorn that were displayed for sale. Pigs.
I've seen dogs get angry and go on a barking spree that made me wonder if someone was going to get attacked. If someone gets hurt and they have a lawsuit maybe they will finally keep these mutts out of the store. I know Rural King thinks it brings customers in by allowing dogs, but have to wonder how many folks stay away because of this policy. I love my pets, but don't feel the need to take them into stores to maybe get a little bit of attention.
By closing the gate to the main mall your doing a disservice to customers and especially the other businesses in the mall. Can't understand why would want to make it more difficult for customers to access the mall. Also, in good conscience how can you make it more difficult for stores in a little mall that already appears to be struggling to stay in business. Shame on...
