I needed a little break today so I went to this little gem. It’s a great place to take the kids There is a covered picnic table and it’s far enough off the road and protected so kids are safe to play. The trail is well marked and although I did not see any critters this time I did hear many birds. I will be going back for a longer walk.

Found this trail while I was in the area. It's small but beautiful with all the tall trees. Lots of shade and spots to explore. Didn't see much wildlife. But it is nice to just go for a small hike. Do keep in mind there are a few spots where it gets merky and muddy so walk carefully and slow along the sides of the trail.

really great place to stop and just enjoy a nature walk. only saw one other person during my walk. the two trails connect to each other. the boardwalk is closed, which was kinda bummer, but obviously for safety reasons.

When our office moved to Meadowcrest I went looking for a new place to walk on my lunch break. These trails are short enough to get in and out in time to get back to work. I was very disappointed that the marsh overlook is blocked off with a traffic barricade and looks like it has been for a long time. There are a few spots that are very wet, almost not passable without losing a shoe or venturing off trail to find firmer ground, but I don't mind. I...

Great little trail that is very easy to explore and find. Most of the trail is wooden boardwalk with plenty of benches to sit and relax. At the end of the trail, there's a great view of the estuary and gulf hammock. Definitely wild Florida. Expect to spend no more than an hour on the walk, unless you really take your time. Perfect birdwatching location - and can be easily experienced by the handicapped, the elderly,...

they took down most of the boardwalk and park benches there is only one bench now and it is at the begining of the walk, would be nice to have more benches, you can either take a short hike or a long one other than that they made new trails they are wide all in all a nice hike. If you make it to the end I included photos of the boardwalk at the end...
