White Oaks Shopping Center — Local services in Cumberland

This plaza has a huge parking lot that's mostly unused. Specifically the end where More 4 Less used to be. I wish I could rent it & open my business there. It would be a great place for a weekend flea market! I love Big Lots & Dollar Tree. Not a fan of the laundromat. It's sad to see the bowling alley used so little. Cumberland needs more family venues & this could be one of them, if they'd be more family friendly. Bowling alleys seem to cater more towards their bar crowd these days. "Back in my day" bowling alleys were packed almost every night with leagues. I remember trying to take my kids sometimes for open bowling & have to wait to get a lane because the place we went would be so crowded. Are they a dying recreation or is it just this place? There are only two bowling alleys in our area, maybe 3 for the Tri State area and this is one of them. Love Big Lots, and Dollar Tree also the Local Bowling Alley, there's a laundry Mat also that's very clean and inexpensive to use. The dollar tree has been revamped , they now have stand up coolers along the back wall filled with groceries. All great prices, decent items, more groceries and snacks.
