CumbyTel customer service is responsive, and friendly. Always help when I had any issue except one. Fiber was installed. We moved into the realm of new streaming and Internet possibilities. BUT, it is absolutely relic and antiquated to continue to require a telephone line as part of the service. WHY? I was told the General Manager didn’t want to forget where they started-as a telephone company. This thinking is what holds a company from growing and being successful in the future. Soon new providers will be here and will replace backward thinking practices of Cumby Telephone with future needs and reasonable service requirements. After a rocky start... We have phone and internet. Very nice people, just slow as molasses.

On July 31, 2019, I paid my deposit and have been eagerly waiting on service. Vonda took my order. So far so good.

Unfortunately, we are now approaching three weeks. I've been on the phone multiply times with multiple people and still nothing.

UPDATE: 8/19/19 On the phone again. Back on hold. The operate, Casey asked me if I wanted a REFUND. Excuse me, YOU HAVE A MONOPOLY. I have no choice but to do business with you. Casey then said tried to reach the installation team with no luck.

I wish I could give zero stars because this is one of the worst ISP's out there. Outrageous prices for absolutely horrible internet. The only thing keeping this company alive is the fact that it's the best worst option compared to the other ISPs offered in the area. It's impossible to have a reliable connection after 5pm because for some reason the latency spikes to almost 2000+ ms. I would love for one of their employees to elaborate as to why this happens day in day out. How are you selling this to people and getting away with it?
