Dollar General — Local services in Curwensville

I have been to this location numerous of times, today however when we went this afternoon will be my last time I step foot in the door. I have never had a problem with anyone everyone is always so nice. Today however the man at the register was the most unpleasant, rudest and most miserable man. I left there so embarrassed. I forgot my card (which is embarrassing enough) and had enough cash for one item. He made the biggest scene telling me he can't do anything about it and just standing there staring at me. Okay I understand you need a manager to void it off but was it necessary for the scene you caused with 4 people behind me? He actually stood there waiting knowing I only had enough cash for one item for a good couple minutes before finally yelling for his manager in a very disgusted voice and was so rude explaining to her that one item needed voided. Like I felt very uncomfortable and embarrassed. I have never had a problem til today at this location and I will not go back if this guy is going to continue to work...

8/18/23 @ about 230 or so Huge shout out to the lady with the shirt that said store manager on it, dark hair ,she was awesome & probably doesn't even realize she made my kids days by being so nice!

My kids got bubble guns from there as a gift, from a family member and we realized they didn't work and we went to the store here in hyde and tried to exchange it bc they're more local to us personally & idk who the manager was but he was so out of line and disrespectful all over a bubble shooter needing exchanged and me not having a receipt, me being me, I told him about himself bc I literally just returned something I didn't have a receipt to days prior, so ik they could do it!!!

I ran into this Dollar General because I was going to go visit family in Curwensville.

I would like to personally Thank the two cashiers for being so kind! I was a bit nervous. I was nervous thinking about how our family get together was going to go. My mind was somewhere else

It just goes to show you that you can make a difference in small gestures. I even told my family that I think the people working in the Curwensville Dollar General was so great. They helped me find what I needed. They helped me clip a coupon I needed.
