Boyds Antiques — Local services in Custer

Wouldn’t recommend. The man working there was very rude to our children who would have liked to buy some things but we passed once he yelled at them. Our children are very respectful of antiques and we antique all over the country with them and everyone has always been kind until today. We also watch our kids very closely and don’t let them just run around and touch everything. I watched an older lady drop something today but it was our kids who got yelled at because they were excited about something they wanted to purchase. Not family friendly whatsoever and when I confronted the man he continued to be a jerk.

Edited to add to your reply: Now I know you’re lying. Last year it was a sweet and kind lady working. We did do not EVER let our kids run around unattended. EVER. Our kids are kind and respectful unlike yourself. Yelling at a 10 year old girl because she was looking at something she wanted to BUY is completely uncalled for, she didn’t do anything wrong and neither did any of the other kids in there and I know you’re lying about remembering us because the kids you did yell at are actually friends of ours and this was their first time coming to your store and YOU left quite an impression. There were 3 adults in that store watching the children especially the young ones and you know who dropped something? An elderly lady not our children. Actually we are going to come back and I’ll actually leave them unattended so you can see the differences....

I could spend ALL day here! HUGE selection of fun suff. A little bit of everything for everyone. The owners were SUPER friendly. Gave us a list of other great antique stores on our route. Would have sat and talked with them all day if it weren't for all of the other customers coming in... Lol. I'll be back!...
