Bacchus Lounge — Local services in Cuyahoga Falls

We were very skeptical walking into Bacchus Lounge. We had seen a newspaper clipping from back in January 2019 boasting their gumbo and creole cuisine. However, upon walking in it looked like more of a bar. Very laid back, old looking tables. Nothing fancy. The restaurant in the front is more fine dining but that is not really our style. We were craving something like a bistro or brewery type of feel. Walked into what was more like a laid back bar & gril . Was very skeptical as the menu ranged from pizza to entrees like grilled pork chop with jambalaya.

Bacchus Lounge is great. Attached to Russo’s restaurant but with a different and more relaxed menu. Their drinks are so strong and delicious! We loved going there prior to Covid, and are patiently awaiting the reopening of this part of the business. Russo’s is open and we’ve gotten some incredible carry out from them, but I miss Bacchus. We were told by the bartender to sit down at table they set up for us, just to sit there for 45 minutes completely unacknowledged. We asked someone who worked there about a server and still no evidence of communication to provide service. No one seemed to know what was going on - employee wise.
