Yesterday we went with my husband and my support dog (Goldendoodle) to Bridgeland Homes because we were interested in to buy a house. As we were not sure where we could get information about the houses we went to the Bridgland Houses Welcome Center. At 1:50 pm. However, as we walked through the door of the site, a woman who called herself “Carol Herrera” took us out of the site without even giving us the opportunity to tell her that we wanted to buy a house. In an act of intolerable racism, she kicked us out without letting us say a single word! Violating the ADA act law. I have never felt so humiliated!! In fact, we saw two minutes before our arrival, another couple of white people come out accompanied by a dog bigger than ours and they did attend us. Read moreThe management recently changed hands, but Bridgeland continues to be an extremely family-friendly neighborhood packed with amenities such as pools, parks, and playgrounds, and a gym, fishing spots and plenty of trails for exercising, biking, or jogging, all throughout the well-landscaped lakes, bridges, and hills that have been clearly well thought out. There is a school here as well as a developing town center for small, family-oriented businesses with more to come of everything mentioned previously. When this master-planned community is complete, I don't think it will ever be necessary to leave the neighborhood to continue to live. I will say that the HOA fees can get kind of pricey, but this is all so that they can make sure that Bridgeland continues to be the well-kept community...
