Kay's Korner — Local services in Cypress

My last visit here was a different experience. The staff on this visit did not greet me upon walking in or anytime during my visit. I purposely ventured near the register where, seems like most of the associates were, and still nothing.

I started not to buy anything, but this is the closets Hallmark.

Even when I got to the counter, with my less than normal purchase, there were 3 women behind the counter and it was like none of them wanted to ring me up. I was rang up with no normal questions like, Did you find what you were looking for? Did you find everything ok? Do you have any rewards you're using today? I mean, I'm no fancy Nancy, but I have had way better and friendlier service. Because of this, I am not sure I'll go back to this location. I'll go to Papyrus, CVS, Walgreens, Target or...

I wanted to warn everyone to NOT WASTE YOUR TIME going here and ordering Christmas Ornaments. I normally spend several hundreds of dollars at this store buying Christmas Ornaments and other various things. I ordered some ornaments back in July (the ones that come out in Oct.), and I just recieved a call where they told me that my bag will be empty becasue they didn't get enough in to fill my order, but that they will be available next year. This tells me that they DO NOT ORDER THEM, they simply hope that they get enough in to fill requests. So WHY did they have me fill out an ORDER form in July? IF I had known that they were not ordering for me, I would have ordered them myself online. Now, because it is 3 days before the release date, they are not available online....

Went to this store today with my 3 kids and the sales associates were so rude to us. Several times they told my kids not to touch anything unless they were going to purchase them. Like, seriously, we were shopping for Xmas ornaments and they had a ton of interactive ones that my kids were trying out in order to buy. I’ll NEVER shop at this Hallmark store EVER again. I’ve already told several people about it and will continue to do so. If the old bitties that work there hate PAYING customers bringing kids they should find other work....
