Mori katsu &kimbap — Restaurant in Cypress

I ordered on their website, the site says our order would be ready in five minutes, so we rushed over there. I ordered at 7:09 PM, and my food wasn’t ready until about 735pm. I don’t mind how long it took, but the website is wildly inaccurate. The man that worked the cash register was rude when I told him i was there to pick up an order, stared at my blankly. The good is not great. My boyfriend ordered the chicken curry katsu plate. The katsu is not made fresh, instead it seems they are purchasing pre breaded and fried chicken pieces. The macaroni salad was unseasoned. Just noodles and mayo with no salt. I got the beef yaki udon which was just fine. The only thing that tasted good was the cucumber salad, nothing else really tasted made in house....

Been here a few times. The food and service are generally ok. Atmosphere feels like a typical cafeteria, if way smaller, with a few more glowing lights. They have a neat kimbap discount if you buy multiple rolls, which is nice to see. Still not especially cheap, but maybe somewhat cheaper than similar competitors like Jincook in Buena Park.
