A Perfect Blend of old and new. This theater must be about a hundred years old and it looks like it from outside. The upstairs Theatre has stadium seating and a new screen and digital sound. The lower first floor screen is also brand new and the room also has digital sound. It does not have stadium seating on the first floor. Now here's the second best thing it only cost a dollar fifty per person no matter if it's a first Run movie or not. It's amazing how fast first-run movies appear here. The concession stand has a full menu just what you would expect at a major franchise theater. Except that it is ultra cheap. Just a few miles away is a more modern theater and he cost $3.50 for a tiny bag of popcorn. Here the bags are larger and hugely cheaper. This is the only theater I know of where you can buy a ticket and a bag of popcorn and a Coke for less than $5. After you finish the movie walk around the old part of town you're only one block away a very small block away. Its a cute little place with decent prices. However, the child at the ticket counter was extremely rude every time we spoke. The first time i asked if i could use the bathroom while my husband bought tickets. (We had driven from Waskom to Dangerfield to see the new Star Wars with family.) He said they didnt have a public restroom even though it can be seen from the door, it also took me three times of repeating myself to get him to acknowledge my presence, I know he could hear me bc he rolled his eyes. The second time, we got to the theater at 445, was told we couldnt buy tickets until 520, so we run to McDs and come back at 5 exactly. This guy let the group of teenagers, that were behind us the first time, buy tickets and go inside. The third time was when I asked if cards were accepted. I did not appreciate his attitude on any of these occasions. Its always the same boy, always with the attitude. Id rather go to Regal and spend $40 than deal with...
