China Cafe — Restaurant in Daingerfield

I would give less than one star if I could. We got take out for lunch. The food was overcooked and premade. We paid over $40 for lunch. My cashew chicken was in such large pieces that I had to cut it to get a bite. All the other chicken was out of a bag and overcooked. Spring rolls were all dough and premade. When we called and obviously upset about getting such poor quality food the owner just continuously said what other people said and didn’t care about our experience. She refused to give us a refund and told us to just not come back. She was rude and obviously had no customer service training or even...

The food wasn't bad, just a little different but that's okay. What isn't okay is circling the building waiting on food. I totally understand a 15 min wait but the establishment really needs a better plan for their drive-through so it's not a merry-go-round and pinning the problem on the customers to continuously drive around each time a new car comes up. Maybe this doesn't happen often. Maybe I should have ordered ahead of time but some communication goes a long ways. Hopefully this message finds it's way to better this restaurant and not to just shoot down...

The food is okay, but definitely not worth it for the money in my opinion. The fastest anyone ever answers is if it's 15 minutes until it says they close online, to tell you they're closed. All sauces are extremely sour. The chow mein isn't served with noodles, even though the translation for it is "fried noodles". Maybe that's on me for not asking, but I truly thought it was a given.
