Food Lion — Local services in Dale City

I have never had a problem shopping at this location, and it is the supermarket we shop at the most. I had a wonderful experience when my car would not start in the Food Lion parking lot--as wonderful as possible for that kind of occurrence anyway lol. I had no jumper cables, so all I could think to do that might not take forever was go back in the store and ask for help. Two of the associates came to help me with jumper cables and a car within 5 minutes! I am so thankful they were able to help me so quickly that night so that me and my daughters, one of them a moody toddler, were not stranded forever in the parking lot. Usually when I come here it is typically a good experience, however, this evening my lettuce, mainly, among other items, was crushed by the gallon carton of creamer I purchased because the CHILD on check out line #1 was on his phone the ENTIRE TIME. He never once greeted me at all, much less with any basic human pleasantries. Did not look up from his phone to acknowledge me or other customers. Just on his phone. The time was about 8:55pm. 07030 11/24/24.Donna the morning manager customer service support in a crisis is disgraceful 0/10. The register computer froze prior to paying and instead of getting me out she checked out customers behind me at another register for THEIR CONVENIENCE...I could only watch and then she had someone else rechecked me out when she was done at that register. My time and inconvenience meant nothing to Donna. When I brought all the above to her attention she looked at me and said insincerally "I apologize". That's it!
