Lake highlands Gun range was a flawless experience for me and my good friend especially it being our first time at the range let alone our first time shooting a gun!

We were greeted very nicely and promptly at the entrance by a gentleman named Buddy and he then gave us a quick straightforward rundown of the rules And policy’s of the range in which were easy and not a problem to understand/comprehend!

After that he checked our firearms to make sure they were safely and properly packaged making sure they weren’t loaded and etc, explained a few free tips on how to properly aim and proper way to fire and hold are firearms which helped us dramatically!

After that the ladies and gentlemen at the front desk had us sign some documentation in regards to the range, took our ID’s and lastly took our forms of payment and then gave us our paper shooting targets for our lane in which all of this was pretty smooth and quick! In which probably took less than 10 minutes and we were on our way to our shooting lane!

I will give 5 out of 5 stars just due to the excellent customer service me and my friend received, the facility and overall It’s overall cleanliness and the actual shooting experience itself which in my honest opinion was fun and exciting for my first time!

Will be returning back more often as well as recommending this Range to friends and family!

I would like to give my highest recommendation to Lake Highlands Shooting Center. I came into the range this week for a private lesson with Buddy Parker, Federal Law Enforcement Instructor and NRA Certified Instructor, and left feeling completely confident and full of knowledge—& the ability to shoot in pretty tight grouping. We spent time in the “classroom” learning about grips, stances, and most importantly-safety-before entering the range to shoot. In preparation for a new personal protection weapon purchase, I messaged Buddy and set up a time to come for instruction. His knowledge and professionalism was unbeatable. After shooting several of his personal handguns, he and (owner) Mark, made a recommendation on what to purchase. Although Mark could order what I need, he let me know about a less expensive way to purchase. I look forward to returning with my new handgun for another lesson in the classroom and the range. As a 30 year old woman, I felt completely comfortable and safe, as well as respected at Lake Highlands Shooting Center. Being relatively new to the gun world (couple of years of owning and maybe a year of training), I can truly say lake highlands shooting center is a fantastic gun range.

Mark, the owner, and staff have all been polite and helpful since the first time I walked in.

This past weekend I attended the LTC + Defensive handgun course and I can attest that it is well worth the money and time. Larry is a great communicator and has the professional experience very few people can claim when it comes to this stuff. Although doing both classes in one day is tiring, I came out shooting the best I ever had, with my LTC application complete, and all the basic knowledge to protect myself and be a responsible armed citizen.

I became a member and I am looking forward to training here from this point on. Great place for beginners and the experienced alike!

Update: I used the private lounge and 2 private lane area this week as a member. I was able to host some coworkers from Europe and taught them the basics of gun safety, and we had a blast. It was a smooth process and Marc and team were very helpful through all of it. Can’t recommend this...
