Pleasant Grove Shopping Center — Local services in Dallas

Been coming here occasionally throughout the years. It's gone through some renovations, and it's alright. It sells more modern desserts now, like tiramisu. It's a nice grocery store, but do be careful of the people who stand around the bakery area. They have business cards, selling kitchen ware from a business called Prestige or something. The wares they have on sale are a hit or miss (and extremely expensive).

They have a seafood area, bakery, a selection of produce, and a butcher shop. If you're wanting fresh meat, get a number ASAP. Also, do remember that most of the people working in the butcher shop may only speak Spanish. There are plenty of other workers who do know English.

The aisles are a bit tricky to understand where things are, and I do get lost (but what else is new?) at times, but it's manageable. They have a tiny selection of Asian snacks such as Hello Pandas and Yan Yans.

The parking lot is almost always full. So be prepared to drive laps around while looking for...

Lost my wallet in the store between 1:30 pm and 3: 00pm. I spoke to the manager i guess she was an manager and really no help. I asked if I could revuew the camera footage she said I needed to make a police report first.I waited for the police to come. Then never Showed up. Around 9:30 pm I was told that it was not a emergency call and that it could be up to 27 hours before someone came out. 7 days passed no one called me . I called the store back and asked for a manager and was told no manager was in the store. I said WHAT. I asked for the coperate office phone number . Its a nice little spot most of the shops have been here for years theres always parking and its very convenient it also has security. The only place in thd entire center I wouldnt advise anyone to visit nor use is the laundry matt it is never clean, the machines or filthy, the water pressure is turned down so low that your clothes barely get wet during the wash cycle, homeless people hang around in here and the attendant never helps the customer is never right with her she will not compensate you or even reset the washet to rewash...
