Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation — Local services in Danville

I really don’t know how this place got 5 star ratings. My mom has been in this facility only one month and I already cannot wait to get her out. I know COVID is a huge issue. But besides that it’s almost impossible to speak to anyone about how mom is doing. They either don’t answer the phone, don’t know, or give canned responses such as “she is fine”. We have not been able to reach them at all since December 24. I found out today that their phone service has been out. Danville centre is part of a bigger organization called Signature. They have different locations. So why couldn’t SIGNATURE reach out to the relatives to let them know this. I am very very disappointed. I would not recommend them and as soon as possible my mother will be removed...

I would like to advise anyone to not place there family members in this place they abused my uncle broke his hand let him fall and break his hip and never took him to the hospital my uncle had bed sores all over him other people in the rehabilitation center had told us that the workers beat my uncle this is no lie I am begging people to not place there family in this place my cousin took my uncle out of here and we had him X-ray once he was home and he had a few broken bones and broken hip bed sores the size of eating plates that was really infected please put your family someplace else and not in this place no one deserves what my uncle went thru...

It is an honor to post to this site. My father-in-law just left Danville Centre two weeks ago after short term rehab. He is 91 years old and when he came the family all agreed he would never be home again. Well I am proud to say he is home and doing great. He is able to get out of the bed by hisself...dress hisself...warm up a meal for hisself. His therapy team..his activities director..and all his nurses were AMAZING...If not for them...I feel he would still be there struggling to survive. Thank all of you for your help..and mostly for just caring . God bless all of you...you did make a difference in all our...
