Such a beautiful place, but so disappointed. We went on Labor Day weekend, so I did expect a crowd, but the crowd that we were surrounded by was a very untasteful crowd. There was trash every where, dirty diapers laying around, several tent areas had cats walking around and while swimming there were beer cans floating along side. In the swimming area we saw several people undressing in the crowd down to their birthday suit, and one lady completely took off her top and nursed her child that looked about 2 years old. I saw one lady washing her clothes in the swimming area, food laying around, BBQ's in the walking area, It was absolute CHAOS. We took a hike up to the Castles, hoping to see something historic and beautiful, but instead there is Graffiti every where, trash, and broken beer bottles. While walking around, there was music blaring, all kinds of music and inappropriate music at some people's area. Not the nature / relaxing weekend we were hoping for, I was told that at one point Turner Falls was a State owned park, but an individual has since then purchased it and I can tell you right now, who ever owns this place, is out to make money. A place that at one point was a beautiful, natural place to visit, has turned into a commercialized, money making joke. There are restaurants everywhere, grocery stores inside the park, trams, a laundromat and souvenir stores. We started our weekend Saturday morning, spent the whole day trying to find somewhere to swim and frustrated by the end of the day, we decided to take a trip to Sulphur Oklahoma, drove around and decided to spend the rest of our vacation at Chickasaw and that was what we needed, changed our whole mood and turned our trip around. I spoke to one of the Rangers at Turner Falls and asked if there was a better time of the year to go and he said every single weekend is like the one we experienced on Labor Day, so on that note we will never go back on the weekend, and honestly we probably will never go back. I hope that something changes, because how things are going on, Turner Falls is being destroyed and will continue to be destroyed do to the type of people that go and the owner of the park, because whoever it is obviously does not care enough to...

Read moreI want to give this so many stars but I was kind of dissatisfied. Me and my family rented 2 bunkers. Those are nice 👍 loved them. When we first arrived it was nice and peaceful because the storms coming so the park seemed to clear out other than people staying overnight BUT then… we woke up to a nightmare !!!! People everywhere. Coming in droves. In caravans full of people trucks with people hanging off them. So many people. Music blaring from all different directions. I am great with music. We would have like to enjoy ours but we couldn’t even hear ourselves. We had a baby trying to sleep in the cabin. It was wild. We were lectured about not having more than 2. Are at our site yet everyone was pulling in front of our cabin and I was having to take it upon myself to ask them to leave. I had strangers coming up to the cabin asking to use our bathroom. People laying out on the ground where we payed to stay. I would say over a thousand people were here and it was never ending. A cop chase 2 times. Not sure why. Some people came and loved the picnic tables we had at our site to a vacant cabin and eventually got moved by the cops or whoever. We just couldn’t enjoy ourselves at all and it’s sad that we took off work and all got together paid over 1k to stay here not to mention all our other stuff we had to buy. Drove 3 hours to wake up to feeling like you were in another country. I believe if you are going to rent bunkers for so much that you should block off atleast this small portion of the creek for those paying to stay like bunkers. Cabins. RVs. That way we are not over run and can’t even feel safe or have any peace. Peace was not happening. We also seen a wrench in front of us because these people don’t know how to drive and they just took off. No cops just ripped off someone’s bumper and left. You have too many people here at once. Your cut off should be a lot less. Reservations for all and that way people can actually enjoy it. I was just so embarrassed bringing my family there for a good weekend and it didn’t end well so ever probably won’t be back but I hope changes are made. We did love the bunkers though. That...
