I grabbed a shopping cart on the way in and the "door gard" thanked me for doing so and even offered to clean it! š Wow! Way to go young man! I had a five dollar bill in my pocket all day, just waiting for just one person, employee or even child to do something nice! And it didn't even have to be to me! I was about to give up hope, since it was 6:30 pm, but I passed it on to him! He tried to give it back, but I smiled under my mask and walked away. By the time I was finished shopping, I wished I would have had 5 more bills to pass out! Especially the worker I ran into on the way out of the store. An older woman using the store electric cart was almost out of power, so, the first worker I saw standing by the movie rental box, I asked to help her and he said, "I'm, I'm already clocked out for tonight. But let me see what I can do without the boss flippin' his lid! LOL" He took off and I informed the lady help was on the way. And it sure was! The young man was driving a cart with another staff worker tagging along. They transferred the groceries and the lady and walked her to her car holding an umbrella over her head! Front person let me know they had free N95 mask, I was going to take one and she informed me it was 3 per customer. I felt she didn't really need to let me know, but she did. In the produce after looking for a few minutes for something, someone came out of the double doors and I asked if she was in that area, she wasn't but stopped to asked what I needed. She didn't know the answer but went into the back to ask someone. Then walked to to the item.l with a smile and very nice (wish I had gotten both their names but didn't). Then at the self checkout I scanned about 7 Meijer coupons, but only one showed up at the bottom. "Trish" the cashier was very pleasant and scanned up my order and verified that everything was taken off. I apologized and she said "nope, don't be sorry that it was a legitimate question and didn't didn't blame me for asking... Very, very nice! Fremont Meijer is one...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a bad experience with some kind of senior manager or gm .....store was swamped and I waited 30 mins to get balloons filled ....he had attitude as if it was beneath him told me they dont fill outside baloons after i had already waited forever and then just threw a new employee at it and didnt try to train him or help. The guy had no desire to satisfy a customer or make the pain of not having enough help easier. Man was hands down unprofessional and clearly if youre that frazzled from 4th of july you might be in the wrong buisness. Came back to see this was his priority instead of properly staffing and training people. Ill bet as soon as I left the store he ran to print that out instead of training anyone to do that area or solve customer issues that occur dur8ng a busy time. Other then that I love the people that do work there! Idk how they stay friendly but most of them have been good or helpful...
