This has to be the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten in my life, I only wish that I could have thrown up what I did manage to eat in the parking lot before I left. The chips and salsa the waitress brought out looked good, but the tortilla chips had ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR . If I would have ripped a piece of the menu, closed my eyes and had the waitress dip it into the salsa and in the other hand dip the tortilla chip in and fed me both one at a time , I would not have been able to tell the difference! or maybe I might have picked the ripped piece of menu because of the salt off the previous customers finger tips would have been something that the chips they served DEFINITELY didn't have. Oh by the way, the salsa was no good either, fact is if you can visualize a mixture consisting of: Water, red food dye, finely mince ice to give it look of consistency, finely chopped green paper to look like cilantro, WALA you would have El Burrito home made salsa, bon appetite! Even though at point of the meal I had a bad feeling about the appetizer and main course to come, i stuck it out. I ordered for the appetizer there homemade guacamole which turned out to be Just as well thought out and made is the salsa they serve, it was pale green had no flavor and appeared to be watered down. When I asked the waitress about this she said oh that's just how they make it. They take a blender or a emulsifier to blend their avocados oh, of course you can't help noticing that there's no avocado flavor it's watery, and when I explain that to the waitress she just said yes. Not deterred to get my point across I proceeded to say that guacamole is usually thicker, it has a flavor avocados (amazing concept huh?) and onions and cilantro and a touch of lime. The waitress, still smiling said yes I like cilantro in my guacamole and walked away. So feeling amazed at what they have served us up to this point, our main entree arrived, and i thought it can only go up from here because everything up to this point was flat rock bottom. Wrong. I ordered the "El Mucho" Burrio, choosing Steak as the protein, my mother chose "El Mexico" burrito supposedly had Stewed beef in it. Both had what I can only describe as having a milk sauce on it, the steak bits in my burrito were tough, not resembling any steak flavor I have ever tasted, the rice served on my mother's dish resemble Spanish rice, but I guess so would the styrofoam particles you find in a bottle of a box that was packed with it, with a touch of red spray paint, and have the same flavor. The honor of having this experienced at El Burrito came to $33, of course the only blessing to us was that we were going to go back to the Fremont Hospital for my father was having his gallbladder removed, not because he ate ate l Burrito the day before today, cbut due to reasons not related, but if we were going to be lll we were at a place that...

Menu was amazing, ordering online was very easy and with a 10 minute pick up time crazy fast! Upon arrival all staff was wearing masks, the two women who greeted me were super nice. My food was ready and waiting. Over all a good start.
Once arriving home we realized that the 4 burritos we ordered were unlabeled and difficult to identify. We had to get out a menu to verify who's was who's. Daughter ordered nachos, so hers was easy to pick out, she enjoyed it. My son ordered the burrito Marino, it was packed full, and he was very pleased. My mother had the Ranchero burrito, again it was packed full, nice variety of meats, my husband ordered fajita burrito with only beef, he was disappointed that it was steak and not ground beef, but overall still tasty but was mostly veggies. I ordered the burrito Mexicana, it had 1 forks worth of meat. It was just a soggy shell, a huge pile of lettuce and rice. So very disappointed as most reviews were great and the overall atmosphere when we arrived was great.
Might try it again down the line but certainly not...
Read moreMy mouth was watering for a great wet burrito. So i thought i would try this place. I called in a take out order. They said it would be ready in 5 minutes. It was. Ordered some sour cream ($1.49) and guacamole ($4.99 ouch) for the top. Got home and opened it. Inside was the flatest burrito I've ever seen. At first look i thought it was just an empty tortilla, but it did have an extremely thin layer of meat inside with a small amount of thin oily sauce on it. No cheese, tomato, onions or lettuce on top or inside. The meat was seasoned okay, not bland. So if there had been more meat and a thin layer of refried beans and cheese inside, with a thicker less oily sauce on it and topped with onions, lettuce and tomato, i believe i would have liked it. Normally, a wet burrito is 2 or 3 meals for me. This went down in one sitting with chips on the side. Total cost $16.40. What a letdown! (My husband went in and picked it up for me, so I don't know what the service or...
