I was like forget it I might as well add details for my rating and edit my actual rating.

Went through multiple instructors sometimes having to wait months and months before the next instructor was hired only for them to then run that new instructor away as well, had to shower with larvae in the private showers, the showers look so dirty you would think it's a Private prison, favoritism runs rampant throughout the campus.

Brown nose and you get opportunity after opportunity while the ones who really need the guidance are left to fend for themselves. Defend yourself and you get kicked out.

They hire the worst human beings possible and fire anyone the students get close to, they lie in their own website taking photos of how the dorms used to look, they looked terrible when we got to campus, like 30 years passed, breeze could be felt through a hole in the wall and bugs would crawl into the room.

Few of the staff were really nice and they hated the other staff because of how they treated the students. Now mind you the students have some bad apples that's for sure but they knew this already, Job Corps is for the those who need that extra hand, who were played a bad hand in life. They they should be an example for these younger kids to look up to as a role model, now growing up I had no father, and no one to fill in as that role model. People like myself whether they realize it or not, need that male role model as it's something a lot of people their need for some sort of visual guidance.

To know as a human being this is an example worth following. Instead we get liers, cranky old men, brown nosers, authoritarians etc, what a joke. Lets not mention how much trouble staff would get in "talking" to students.

I could write small book on how poor of a center this is but, yes you can make something of yourself here, but whether you stay should be up to how you're treated, how desperate you are and how competent your instructor is. Best teachers are in the outside physical trades they get things done and are in unions, with them you get the tools you'll need, as knowledge only gets "most" so far.

If you're in IT god speed as it's the worst trade on center since it's underfunded, not respected and has a extremely high instructor turnover rate.

Talk to your instructor more than anyone else, build a connection, learn from them as much as possible without grinding their gears of course and just try to stay out of the drama that follows in any...

When i was 19 going on 20 i enrolled my self. I was talked down to and threatened even though i more than likely was already making more money than the faculty during that time. Could not use cell phones in between classes in the hallways. I didnt care and used mine regardless. I have a family to communicate with. Long story short. The dorm was infested with bed bugs and their efforts were just to move everyone and their belongings to another dorm ( which spreads bed bugs even further) to make matters worse. I said i wanted to leave and its completely nasty and unhealthy. They threatened me and told me they arent sending me back and they are paying for me to get back. Little did they know I made good money and was just picking up an extra trade to further sell my self on my resume. I paid for my own way and told them to go to hell. They did not treat kids and young adults like humans. It was more like a prison. Couldnt eat past a certain time even if you have health conditions or medication that requires you to do so and other far fetched strick rules that make zero sense. Too bad i couldnt get certified in the trade i went there for. Just wasted time that i cannot get back and memories that i will never forget that has impacted me for years. If you care about your kids ask to do a pop up tour and see how they run things first. Dont let them deny communication with your child. And make sure they are happy or feel safe in that environment. Because...

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

I was a student last year and didn't stay past six months for the simple fact the staff there treat the kids there like inmates. Also, the entire building dorms and classroom all have black mold and the food there is so bad that some of the students were getting food poisoning. The medical crew there is very rude and just gives out ice packs and send you on your way even if you CLEARLY are not feeling well. And they don't help you get home to your family for holidays(except Christmas) or weekends so you have to buy the stuff you need (body soap, laundry detergent, food, cloths, ect) and a way home and back when they only pay $40 every two weeks (60 if you been there 6 or more months) nor do they help you find a job in your career of choice or somewhere to live like they say when you complete the program.

Also you have to wait for a "release date" even after you graduated which could be weeks after you complete the program in order to get your certificate and/or hsd if you needed it.

This is genuinely a terrible center and do not recommend the Dayton job...
