I 1st visited this store the week of the grand opening. They weren't on Google yet so I couldn't leave a review then. I can now! So when I 1st went there I was pleasantly surprised. I only went there to get some yellow potatoes as Kroger's yellow potatoes were getting pricey. So they were less expensive here & a good product. That was the FIRST time. The subsequent TWO visits to purchase the same product left me not buying potatoes from there ever again! The quality of the potatoe plummeted rather dramatically. There were so many pitted dark areas on the potatoes that once you cut around all of it; you were left with a significantly smaller potatoe to cook! It even cooked & tasted different from the very 1st bag I purchased! So since then I've only bought 4 bags of ice (which went up $0.40 in price from the 1st time I bought it to the 2nd time I bought it). Be careful with the ice because the bags are THIN!! I was breaking up the clumps & the bag split right open! Luckily it was inside a grocery bag. 🤦🏾‍♀️ And I bought some corn starch. Prices very. In my opinion I think there's a negligible difference of pricing between stores that offer the same name brand items that Gettysburg Grocery offers. On the plus side; it is in the neighborhood should I need something small that I forgot while shopping at Kroger.

I was amazed to see such a beautiful and well-stocked grocery store has opened on Dayton’s west side! Prices are reasonable (I think government subsidies help with their prices?) and the selection of fresh produce and basically everything you expect to find at a grocery store is great! We can finally cease using the phrase “food desert” for Dayton. The store is clean, stocked, and the staff are friendly! Thank you Homefull and Kettering Health for making this long-needed neighborhood anchor a reality!

This grocery store is an amazing addition to West Dayton. The exterior is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, well lit, plenty of parking, clean parking lot, with professional security visible. Upon entering the store I was greeted by a friendly cashier and as I gazed around everything was clean neat and every shelf in the store have been stocked in products were pulled to the front which reduced my normal stress if I go to any other store on the side of town wondering if the products are outdated. The fruits and vegetables were all fresh, The deli was clean and the employees were all knowledgeable and kind. I'm about can't believe this ! It was like a Dorothy Lane market experience without the ridiculous prices. We should definitely support this grocery store so there were no longer held captive to the suboar products and service We've become accustomed to in Drexel in further down Gettysburg. Thanks a million for valuing and...
