Every time yall take down my review I’ll just put it up again. This is the second time yall have removed it, you think I don’t notice?
-ROACHES -UNIT NOT CLEAN WHEN I MOVED IN - DEAD ROACHES EVERYWHERE -NO AMENITIES
(See update below for more shady stuff they have done)
Never in my life have I ever moved to a place and the same night I move in I deal with roach issues. You’ll see 1-3 a day if you live here. Doesn’t matter if they spray once or month, or twice a month you are gonna see bugs.
Received the unit and there were dead roaches in cabinets, top of cabinets, Top of fridge, in the backs of drawers. All the places that I couldn’t see during my viewing there were dead roaches.
They give you a 1-2 day notice before they come “spray” (I have never seen them spray even when I am there watching, and have my pets put up) they come in and leave all within 3 mins max.
Called and complained, sent maintenance requests, called landlord, nothing helped. I am not a crazy dirty person either. My mom even said once that there was a mouse in my Tub when she came over.
Pool never opened the entire summer, nor is the lot maintained. You’ll see broken beer bottles and trash every where. On site laundry does NOT exist - those laundry rooms are abandoned machines are full of literal dirt and rocks and old smelly clothes.
Tried to see if there was ANY type of compensation I could get considering the roaches are a LITERAL State Health Code Violation under the Ohio Revised Code tenant rights, Phillip George (Property Manager) pretty much was like “nah bro” So I WILL be calling state health officials to see if there is anything they can do.
The place may be cheap but BE PREPARED to fight roaches. I now have to spend hundreds of dollars and take lots of time off work to ensure I don’t take this infestation with me.
UPDATE*
After notifying Phillip of my plans to terminate my lease with a 30 day notice, he is trying to say I will have to pay out the rest of my current lease (7 months) yet the lease paperwork states that all that can be taken is 3 months worth of rent and I would loose my deposit. My legal team will be taking Wright Landing to court to Adress these concerns and the local health department will be contacted AGAIN.
2ND UPDATE
Phillip is trying to charge me the reminder of my lease rent plus unused utilities despite the lease agreement stating that all that can be taken is forfeit of deposit plus 3 months rent.
When I questioned why I was not being charged the legally agreed upon amount I was told that I had to be given “permission” Prior to move out to pay the 3 month fee.
Also it’s illegal to be made to pay utilities that are not being used so long as you are current and have already left the property.
I can’t WAIT to tear yall up in court.
DO NOT MOVE HERE UNDER ANY...
Read moreDO NOT rent here unless you are comfortable with living with rodents and bugs. They are infested with mice and with roaches , I have lived here for two years and nothing changed after having conversations with Philip (the property manager) time and time again, unfortunately this was my first apartment being 19 when I moved here and did not know what was going to come with It! they have exterminators come every two weeks BUT even he said that the mice are in the walls and there is just no way for this building to be in great conditions due to the fact that it has been a long time this has been happening, whoever OWNS this property is a slum lord , they will promise to make certain changes and won’t do it. I’ve had mice climb into my bed while I was Sleeping! I’ve had bugs crawl on me too! The mice will make holes in the wall and they will just fill the hole with some type of filling that the mice will eventually chew into. There was also black mold on my ceiling that I started to notice forming (they just painted over it) this is NOT the conditions you want to live in, your kids to live in & even your worst enemy. This place is terrible. ALSO , I forgot to add since I’ve lived there (2 years) the pool has NEVER been open , there are a bunch of junkies that live here too, I’ve had my car broken into and packages stolen. And the hallways stink real bad like ass or sum. God bless whoever is reading this, and choose wisely on your decision because Philip is a liar and makes everything sound good. AND ANOTHER MFN thing , I couldn’t take NONE of my furniture that I JUST purchased last year because it was mouse droppings in there AND they were chewing through my couch! I literally have so much trauma from living here, it’s like an invasion of space (LITERALLY was living with mice...
Read moreApplied and submitted an employment offer letter and my first two paystubs. They claim they need two months of paystubs and an offer letter is not enough (it is for everyone else). They are then confused and stupid about the letter "saying a place in Chicago". Someone doesn't understand that remote work exists!
Lazy and refused to refund application fee when they couldn't process it for literally no valid reason, when I showed 75,000 income on W2 offer letter, just because I hadn't been at the position for two whole months by that point.
Also gave me attitude about my co applicant not having sufficient income when 75,000 yearly is clearly enough for anything in the price range they have.
Clearly this is expectation bias for their standard tenants, who can't work remote and need multiple wage earners to afford a 2 BR, which blinded the clerk from actually reading properly. Hate to see it.
Edit: Oh good, that's what I wanted. A bot to copy paste a canned response. How about giving me my $50 back if you care? You don't, so you won't, and you'll continue to attract only the most desperate (but who are also meeting all of your requirements for stability, somehow) and blame everyone but yourselves for all...
